Asia and its culture

Front Asia is one of the regions (geographical) Asian part of Eurasia. It is located in the north-west of the mainland and includes the Armenian and Iranian highlands, the Arabian Peninsula, the Transcaucasus and the Levant.

Ancient Asia of Asia deserves the most careful study, at least at the expense of its rapid development. Thus, as early as the third century BC, a state arose in this region. It was formed in the place of present-day Iran and was named Elam. On the border of the third and second millennia, states were formed in the territory of Asia Minor, Syria, Phenicia and Northern Mesopotamia. And the first millennium BC gave the Near East states in Transcaucasia, the Armenian Highlands, Central Asia and Iran.

Thus, the Near East rapidly developed in the class and economic terms. Moreover: the states, developing independently, not only did not break their connection with the periphery, but also contributed to its development. Due to the great demand on the part of the states, the periphery could improve both production and its own social system.

It is not surprising that with such a rapid development of production and economy (the Middle Asia entered the Bronze Age already at the end of the third millennium BC), culture also began to develop rapidly. By the way, if we talk about the Bronze Age, we can not fail to mention the important role of this geographical region. His states greatly facilitated the advent of the Bronze Age for the periphery: since they were interested in obtaining this metal from the outside, it was advantageous for them to transfer their knowledge in the sphere of metallurgy to the neighboring countries.

Unfortunately, very few cultural monuments of this part of Asia have reached our time. The reason is its moist soil and unfavorable climate: many architectural works were erected from raw, unbaked bricks, and therefore suffered very much from moisture. In addition, in ancient times, Fore Asia was often raided by numerous enemies who tried to destroy all those works of art that caught their eye.

However, something still remains to this day, and although these crumbs can not fully tell about the culture of the Near East, they deserve the most careful study.

Unfortunately, scientists and culturologists still do not have reliable information about the period of the origin of art in this part of our continent. After all, most of them were destroyed not only cultural monuments, but also written information about them. However, some information still exists: it is known that by the fourth millennium BC Front Asia already had its own culture. To some extent, it is possible to trace the ways of development of its art up to the first millennium BC.

It should be noted that the development of painting in this area was important not only for him: all the peoples of the East were influenced by the front-Asian culture and took much from it.

It is also known that there was a period when the culture of the Near East was influenced by the culture of Egypt: it so attracted the Asian ruling class that they decided to introduce it into their everyday life.
