Antibiotic 'Tsifran'

The medicine "Tsifran" (tablets) is considered to be a fairly common drug from the group of antibiotic medicines. The drug has a very wide range of applications. Antibiotic "Tsifran" shows activity against gram-negative and gram-positive microbes resistant to penicillins, aminoglycosides and cephalosporins.

The mechanism of drug exposure is based on its ability to prevent the proliferation of microorganisms. As a result, the death of bacteria occurs.

The drug is prescribed for the treatment of infectious diseases (including mixed type), the causative agents of which are sensitive to it microorganisms.

Such pathologies include pneumonia, bronchiectasis infected, abscess of the lungs, epimoma, pleurisy (infectious), bronchopneumonia. In addition, the antibiotic "Tsifran" is prescribed for acute and chronic pyelonephritis, epididymitis, urethritis, prostatitis, cystitis, gonorrhea (pharyngeal, rectal and urethral).

The drug is recommended for the treatment of infections of the ENT organs, such, for example, as mastoid, sinusitis, otitis media. The medicine is shown for burns, ulcers (infected), abscesses and other skin lesions of an infectious nature. Prescribe medication for salpingitis, endometritis, pelvic inflammatory disease, septic arthritis, chronic and acute osteomyelitis.

To other pathologies, in which the antibiotic "Tsifran" is recommended, include epiemia of the gallbladder, cholecystitis, cholangitis, peritonitis, cholera, diarrhea (bacterial), typhoid fever.

The dosage of the drug is determined in accordance with the severity of the infection, the body weight and age of the patient, the type of pathogen.

In uncomplicated pathologies in the urinary tract, the antibiotic "Tsifran" is recommended in a dose of 250 mg after twelve hours. With prostatitis and complicated infections, 500 mg after 12 hours.

In pathologies in the lower parts of the respiratory tract: mild to 250 mg, medium and heavy - 500 mg after twelve hours.

When infections of the ENT organs, joints and bones are taken from 500 to 750 mg after 12 hours. With gastroenteritis 250 mg, gynecological pathologies 500 mg after twelve hours. With typhoid fever, 500 mg is recommended after 12 hours for ten days. In acute uncomplicated gonorrhea, the drug is taken once in an amount of 500 mg.

Dosage for intravenous administration is determined by a specialist.

The duration of the therapeutic course will depend on the bacteriological data, the clinical response, the severity of the infection. As a rule, the treatment of acute diseases lasts from five to seven days. However, it is recommended to continue the use of the antibiotic "Cyphran" for another two to three days after the removal of the symptoms of the disease.

If necessary, on the recommendation of the doctor, the initial intravenous injection can later be replaced with an oral (oral) intake.

Antibiotic "Tsifran" is contraindicated in hypersensitivity to ciprofloxacin and other fluoroquinolones. No medication is prescribed for pregnant, nursing patients, children under sixteen.

As practice shows, adverse reactions with reception of a preparation "Цифран" are expressed weakly. They are usually associated with a digestive system disorder and are manifested by vomiting, diarrhea, and nausea. Probably the development of weakness, the onset of headache, photophobia, anxiety, insomnia, redness on the skin, dizziness, fever, itching, rashes.
