Anapa - Kerch: how to move from the mainland to the peninsula?

Anapa - Kerch is a route that can be overcome in two ways. Either by bus, or by water transport. In principle, both the first and second versions are popular. But which one is more convenient or more profitable - it's up to the travelers to decide.

Independent route

Well, the fastest and most reliable way to overcome the route "Anapa - Kerch" will be the following: to travel this distance on your own car. In this case, there are many advantages. Firstly, a person does not depend on anyone. Secondly - comfort. Thirdly, thus it will be possible to reach the destination point much faster. The downside is that not everyone has a car.

Although there is one more nuance concerning the cost. A bus ticket costs about the same as an independent trip on a car. Approximately a person will need 360 rubles. 116 kilometers is the distance that must be overcome, going along the route "Anapa - Kerch". And if the car spends 10 liters per 100 kilometers, then all the way will take only 12. One of the most inexpensive gasoline costs 30 rubles per liter. So the trip will cost inexpensively. If not for one nuance - the fact is that you will still have to pay for a place on the ferry. If a person goes alone, it will be somewhat expensive - about 1500 rubles. If five people are traveling, it will be cheap.

Traveling by map

Before you go on a trip on the route "Anapa - Kerch", you should carefully read the map and study the list of cities and settlements through which you will have to drive. This is useful information, as it will be possible to find out more information about the DPS posts and petrol stations on the way.

The way from Anapa to Kerch lies through a large number of villages. Cibanobalka, Grape, Utash, Dzhiginka, White, Hay, Fontalovskaya, Zaporizhzhya and Ilyich are their names. Also, we will have to stop at the port of Kavkaz (from there ferries depart) and then drive through the port "Crimea" (it is about half an hour's drive from Kerch itself). In general, the route is simple - you only need to get familiar with it in advance - and you can start off.

Regular flights

If there is no possibility to go by car from Kerch to Anapa or vice versa, then do not be upset. This is not the only way to get to the city. In the direction of "Anapa - Kerch" the bus runs regularly (and back too). There are both direct flights and transit. All of them go to Sevastopol - to the Crimean city-hero. Few flights are sent directly from Anapa (to be more precise, there is only one), mostly the routes start from Krymsk, Novorossiysk, Tuapse, Sochi, Gelendzhik and Krasnodar. Pleases that they go regularly - every day. Here it is only desirable to take a ticket at least a couple of days before departure, because on the day of departure they may not be - the direction is popular and, accordingly, is in demand.

It is worth noting one more nuance. Kerch is not always indicated in the voyage. Take, say, a bus, the next in the direction of "Sochi - Sevastopol." Kerch is not listed in it - instead of it there is a note "Port" Caucasus. "However, in the city bus stops anyway, because, as it was said before, the port is located not far from it. Caucasus ", you can be sure that the bus will stop in Kerch.

Catamarans

Everyone knows that from Kerch to Anapa and back you can get by water transport. This is also a fairly convenient method. And you can overcome this distance in three and a half hours. Many people go on the route "Anapa - Kerch". The catamaran, however, does not enjoy such popularity as buses, and so for today there are only two such flights, for eight hours and for half of the third (daytime). If you go in the morning, then you can be in Kerch at 10:30. If you take a day trip, then the hero-catamaran arrives at 17:00.

The ticket price, of course, differs from the fare on the bus. The adult ticket will cost one thousand rubles (one way). Children's - half as much (from six to 12 years old). But there is a slight advantage in the form of a free ticket for children under six years old. In addition, the distance on the catamaran can be overcome much faster. The names of the ships are Sochi-1 and Sochi-2. In this case, tickets should also be taken in advance, since catamarans are usually filled to capacity (their capacity is 250 people).

Development of the transport system

It should be noted that recently (to be more precise, after the Crimea joined the Russian Federation) flights from the Crimea to the mainland (in particular - to the Krasnodar Territory) have become very popular. Many people in March of 2014 became interested in how you can move to the other side. Therefore, the development of the transport system began very actively, and a test flight of the catamaran "Sochi-1" was launched at the same time, in the first month of spring. It took some time to work off the mooring and reception of passengers, and after that the flights have already become regular.

Through the ferry

Well, about catamarans everything is clear, but there is another type of water transport. And these are ferries. Anapa - Kerch is the direction by which this type of transport does not go. Ferries from Crimea to the mainland go only from Kerch and from Sevastopol. From the last point they are sent exclusively to Novorossiysk. And it's not passenger ships, but cargo ships. So to swim to the other side on the ferry will be only one way - initially having reached by bus or car to the ferry, and there - to buy a ticket for water transport. To date, this is the most popular way to overcome this route.
