Casting - it's always not an easy thing. It is necessary among hundreds of applicants to choose the ideal suitable and ready to translate all the ideas of the director. That's why in 2009, trials began for the movie "Thor". The actor in the title role is Chris Hamsworth. However, it was not approved the first time.

Initially, the work was offered to Daniel Craig, but he declined the offer. Chris was rejected by the producers at an early stage of the selection process. The applicants for the role were Kevin McKeid, Alexander Skarsgård, Paul Leveski. The main objective factor in the selection was an excellent physical shape and resemblance to the original.
