Abzelilov district - Askarovo

Many of the unique monuments of nature, striking beauty and grandeur, wonderful hand-made objects, impressive courage of engineering thought and talent of creators, is famous for Bashkortostan. Abzelilov district is part of this amazing land - sunny, generous and unusually hospitable.

Location

In the east of Bashkiria (in the center of Trans-Ural) on an area of 4,3 thousand square meters. Km is located Abzelilovsky district. According to legend, Abzelil was a clever guy who won a whole herd of horses from the owner of the lake and gave horses to people. Perhaps, that is why the coat of arms and the flag of the district depicts a horse. Neighboring Abzelilovsky with the following areas of Bashkiria: Beloretsk, Uchaly, Burzyan and Baimak, as well as with the Chelyabinsk region. The length of its territory from north to south is 200 km, and from west to east - 120 km. The administrative district center is the settlement of Askarovo. From it to Ufa about 350 km, to Beloretsk - 90, to Magnitogorsk - 40 km.

Transport

Abzelilov district is among the top three in the territory among other 54 administrative units in Bashkortostan. Its transport system includes an international airport (located in Magnitogorsk), more than 600 km of motor roads, half of which are asphalted, and two railway branches with four stations. By road it is possible to get here with comfort from all major cities of the country, including Magnitogorsk, Sibay, Ufa, Chelyabinsk and others.

Approximately 290 km of roads, mostly regional, so far has crushed stone and ground cover, which makes it difficult to travel under adverse weather conditions.

Although the Abzelilovsky district is located between the major industrial centers - Magnitogorsk, Beloretsk and Sibay, the ecology is good. The territory of the region is geographically divided into mountain-forest (western part) and flat-steppe (eastern part) zone. On the plains are mainly engaged in livestock and agriculture. The mountainous zone is famous for its unique natural monuments and resorts. Form its ridges of Urtaltau, Kirkytau and Irendyk, whose height is about 1000 meters.

The slopes of the mountains are covered with mixed forests. There are a lot of plants in them, listed in the Red Book and carefully protected. In the same area, the Bashkir Nature Reserve begins. The beauty here is unusual - severe rocks, green massifs, carpets of flowers under your feet. In the forests you can find marals, squirrels, hares, badgers, foxes, wolves, even bears. Of the birds, gulls, cranes, swans, ducks are settled here.

Hydro resources and minerals

The Abzelilov district is known far beyond the borders of the republic with its rivers (Kizil, Yangelka) and unique lakes, which are more than thirty here. The most popular are Bathhouse (Mauzdy, Yakty-Kul), Salted (Muldakkul, Tozlokul), Atavda, Ulyanda, Surtand, Sabakdi. Lake Mauzdy called Bannym, as according to legend here the army of Pugachev was washed, and Voditsa had a beneficial effect, restored strength, healed wounds. Salty got such a name due to the taste of water. On its bottom there are mud, which contribute to the treatment of many diseases. In all the lakes of the region there are many fish, which makes them extremely popular among fishermen.

In addition to natural beauty is rich in minerals Bashkiria. Abzelilovsky district has long been a place of extraction of loose gold, manganese, marble, jasper. Now here are developing deposits of copper, limestone, chromites.

Historical monuments

For tourists interested in archeology and history, the Abzelilov district of the Republic of Bashkortostan is interesting for several routes to the burial mounds, the sites of primitive people, the places of battles of the troops of Emelian Pugachev and battles during the civil war.

The presence of mountain ranges makes the Abzelilov district extremely popular among hang-gliders and parachuting lovers. Askarovo is famous for the fact that there are parade and deltadrome, and in 2011 even held a championship in these sports. In addition, in the village there is a horse club, so that anyone can make horseback riding in the neighborhood.

A modern ski resort was built on Lake Bannom. Winters in Bashkiria are not particularly snowy, but there is an installation for the production of artificial snow cover, so you can use the ski slopes from November to April. For lifting to the top, the elevator No. 1 has been built. The trails here are equipped with the calculation both for experienced skiers and beginners, who are provided with instructors.

Abzelilov district, whose villages are scattered in the steppe zone and foothills, has long been famous for jasper mines. Now in some places the development is still under way, and all those who want to follow the route "Jasper belt" with a stop at the Kusimovovsky quarry, in the village of Tashbulatovo and other points where you can find pieces of red, green and multicolored jasper.

From the point of view of the history of the region, the village of Khalilovo, which is the oldest karagai-Kipchak settlement in the region, is of interest. According to legend, it was founded by the elder Khalil. He bequeathed to bury him on the border of two feuding tribes, which was done. After this, the confrontation ceased. Undoubtedly, one of the most popular places in the district has recently been Dinopark, which opened on Lake Severnye Ulyandy. The park's exposition is unique, as all animals are made in full size, move and growl. For children and adults, a café works here, and a special train runs through the territory.
