On the Age of Masters

All the works described here are on the shoulder of children, starting with the middle group of the kindergarten. Different can only be the share of participation of an adult - educator or parent, the complexity of the composition and scope of the master's fantasy. It should be noted that such simple applications can be of interest not only to children, but also to adult creators. They can turn into a postcard or a handmade design object.

Appliqué from cotton wheels

The simplest work on the job is the appliqué "Bunny" made of cotton wool. To produce only four wadded discs, two of which will turn into ears, paws and a bow, and two will become a trunk and a head.

First, we select the background. Since the bunny will be white, then it should be placed on the contrasting paper. Beautifully looks velvet background of green, blue or purple, if velvet paper is not at hand, you can just take a colored cardboard or a thick colored paper of similar colors. Since the hares will be white, the winter background will be more plausible.

Now we take a cotton wool disc, fold it in half and cut out along the arc details, similar in shape to the paws. The rest of the middle of the disc is used on the bow. Another disk again folded in half and cut out a similar figure, but a little thinner - it's rabbit ears. The middle of the disc is bent once more in half, as shown in the picture and cut - it's two paws. Now we place all the blanks on a sheet of paper, if necessary we move and can be glued. It can be done easily and safely with PVA glue. Add from the small pieces of colored paper eyes and nose.

From an orange paper we cut out a triangle, similar in shape to a carrot, slightly rounded corners. Let's add a little green foliage. Our vegetable is ready. We hand him his hare in the paws. It turned out a pretty picture. If you insert into the frame and beat the inscription, snow, or other interesting elements, you will get a real gift for the holiday.

Application of paper "Bunny" can easily be performed according to the same scheme, but it will take a little more time to harvest. But here you can at your discretion to change the size of the hare figurine.

Application "Bunny" in the middle group of the kindergarten is wonderful, because it is the simplest of the proposed options. The rest of the work requires more perseverance and support for the adult.

Older children like to fantasize, and themselves with the help of cotton pads can add different figures for making applications. Several examples are shown in the photographs.

Application from circles of different diameters

For example, the applique "Bunny" from circles of different diameters will require more labor to prepare templates. Here we need circles of three diameters: take 3-2-1 cm. A large circle is cut out one - the trunk, middle three - head, ears, foot and small three - on the muzzle, tail and paw.

Two circles of medium size are cut in half. One part is superfluous, everything else goes into action.

Select the background for the picture and lay out the blanks in accordance with the picture. Correct the placement and glue everything except the paws.

Carrots are made according to the scheme described in the first article. It will be placed under the hare's foot. Paw with carrots pasted in the last turn. We add thin threads of a mustache. It is unlikely to do without the help of a teacher or mother.

Application from oval-shaped blanks

You can come up with a lot of options more free in form songs, and they are complicated only in the preparatory part, the one that concerns adults, namely, the preparation of templates.

A very interesting and uncomplicated composition is obtained from wadded disks, slightly cut into an oval shape. But this work, perhaps, is more suitable for manufacturing in a home workshop, as it has many details of assembly.

Suddenly, the black background for our application will look beautiful.

We need 4-5 cotton discs for the bunny and snowdrifts. Colored paper for making other parts.

First we prepare wadded disks. One cut off a little, giving it a slightly oval shape - it's the torso. The disc for the head is cut more to get an oval more elongated.

We turn another disc into our ears by bending it in half and cutting off a narrow sector in a straight line. The remaining part is turned into paws, cutting into two halves slightly rounded corners.

Do not rush to discard small discs. They will become snow in the picture.

A pair of the next disks, cut in half, will turn into snowdrifts, but we will deal with this a bit later.

The next element of our picture is the carrot application for the bunny. There are no new designs. The same elongated orange triangle with slightly rounded edges along the lower base, and a bunch of green leaves of arbitrary shape from the corresponding paper.

We also need a hare foot light blue or gray - a circle about a half centimeter in diameter.

It remains to make two peas - one for the eye, the other for the nose. Diameter of peas is 0.5-0.7 cm.

Appliqué "Christmas tree"

Now you need to take a strip of green paper for making herringbone applications. Fold the strip on the eye, bending 4-5 times, cut out slightly elongated triangles. We reduce one little bit, cutting it, it will be the crown. When assembling a forest beauty, you should not over-level its components, a slightly irregularly shaped tree looks more interesting.

The blanks are ready. It remains only to place them on a sheet of paper. Here you can let the kid either place the figures according to the ready-made scheme, or you can allow fantasy to fade, just prompting the purpose of the details.

After the picture is collected, you can glue the elements to their places, using all the same PVA glue.

The picture will look more complete if we arrange it on a light, larger sheet or make a frame-passepartout in another way.

Applique "Carrot"

Application of carrots for bunny can be performed in a different way. It will be a carrot pocket. It can hide notes with wishes, for example, or a small souvenir, such as stickers, which children often collect. You will need a circle that matches the color of the paper. We cut it in half. Carrot will come out of each half. Now we will bend the semicircle, bending it into three equal parts, and glue the pocket.

You can draw on the carrot black patches or paste pieces of black thread to make the fruit more voluminous.

Leave the circle of green paper leaves, first bending it in half. We put the resulting semicircle with a bend towards us. With your right hand, bend a small part of the semicircle to yourself, so that it lies on the main part. On the left we make a bend in the other direction, so that the tail of the bend peeps out from behind the main part. The angle of the base, obtained after the fold, is glued to the paper, then it is glued to the carrot itself.

The result is a carrot-pocket. There are several such pockets. All children know that carrots are a hare dream, the better it is, the more happy the hare is. Such carrots can be a supplement to any of the proposed applications "Bunny", and can become an independent craft.
