What the Heart Arrhythmia Can Do

The contraction of the muscles of the human heart occurs at a given rhythm and pace. In healthy people, the heartbeat is characterized by a sufficiently clear rhythmic picture. This process is autonomous and does not lend itself to man's management in the way that he manages the work of the muscles of the hands and feet. Therefore, usually people rarely pay attention to how rhythmically the muscles of his heart work, because when the pace of heartbeats increases, their rhythm retains their uniformity. In most adults, the frequency of sinus rhythm is at rest 60-75 beats per minute.

Violation of the rhythm of work - in fact, this is the arrhythmia of the heart. The heart immediately makes itself known when there are irregularities in the picture of its contractions. In cardiac diseases, structural disorders of the conductive system and under the influence of other factors, such as intoxication and medicinal effects, sinus arrhythmia of the heart may occur. Diagnosed arrhythmia in the main, using ECG.

The most frequent rhythmic disturbances occur:

Sinus tachycardia. With it, the heart rate can be increased to 150 beats per minute. Such an increase in rhythm in a healthy person is usually associated with stress or high physical stress, after which the rhythm is restored. If there is a steady increase in the rhythm to 100-140 strokes, this indicates heart failure, anemia and nervous system disorders. In this condition, the arrhythmia of the heart is accompanied by unpleasant sensations in the chest. Such a tachycardia can be caused by everyday, medicinal and toxic effects. Elimination of these effects leads to a return to normal without the use of special drugs.

Sinus bradycardia. The rhythm drop is possible up to 60 and fewer beats per minute. A healthy person can arise in a dream and at rest. In patients with such a heart arrhythmia is observed in the pathology of the digestive organs and neuroses, can occur with increased intracranial pressure, viral infections, a decrease in thyroid function and under the influence of certain drugs. Here you need to treat the underlying disease. In severe cases, in rare cases, electrocardiostimulation is indicated.

Paraxismatic tachycardia. Such an arrhythmia of the heart creates a sudden increase in the frequency of heartbeats in a calm state to 120-140 beats per minute. You should put the patient horizontally and call a cardiobrigue to him.

Extracosystia. It is observed as a premature sudden contraction of the heart, since an impulse suddenly appears outside the sinus node. It can be observed with any disease of the heart and its departments. However, more than half of the cases it is not associated with heart diseases, but is caused by psychoemotional and vegetative disorders, medicinal effects, use of stimulants and alcohol, smoking, reflex influence of internal organs.

Atrial fibrillation. There is a chaotic contraction in some groups of atrial muscles, but the atria themselves do not contract, arrythmic ventricular function occurs at a frequency of up to 100-150 beats per minute. It can not be felt by a person and is perceived by him as an ordinary heartbeat. In most cases, drugs are used to reduce the rhythm of ventricular contraction.

Palpitation. Stronger or more frequent contractions of the heart are observed. The appearance of heartbeats in healthy people can result in the excitability of the nervous apparatus responsible for the activity of the heart with great physical stress, agitation, alcohol abuse, tobacco, coffee and strong tea. Palpitation can occur in diseases that cause fever and heart disease.

Various types of arrhythmias of their nature and duration can be caused by various disorders in the body. Cardiac arrhythmia can cause the most unpredictable complications, so only a doctor can establish the correct diagnosis and prescribe a timely treatment.
