What does she really look like?
From the very childhood, people hear about babe. Who is she, where did she come from and why is everyone so afraid of her? What does a real butterfly look like and does it really exist? Why are some afraid of her all her life, and some are not afraid at all? These and many other issues will be discussed in the article.
General information
Babai (in Babai's common people) is a fictional night creature that kills children who do not want to sleep. It appeared so: once someone told a terrible story to his child, in which he said that if he does not fall asleep, a terrible, bloodthirsty monster will come and take him with him. This worked, and the method began to spread, making it more and more popular. In modern times, it continues to be used and told about it to disobedient children.
In the translation from Tatar, the word "babai" means grandfather, so most of the time Babayka is represented in the form of an old terrible old man, capable of causing much pain to everyone who will have to face him. However, this is only one of the assumptions, since no one knows exactly what a babayka looks like. Moreover, most of the time, it is represented not at all like the person in general and grandfather in particular.
Similar creatures
Babayka is more of a Russian creation. In other countries children are frightened by completely different characters, which are no less interesting and curious. Some of them are provided below:
- The Boogeyman. This character is used to intimidate children in most countries. You can see it in the movie with the same name.
- Beech. It's the same Boogeyman, just a different name. Stephen King has a short story with a similar name. However, in the English version it is read as "The Boogeyman", which shows unambiguousness with the previous title.
- Krampus. This creation came from Germany. This terrible, horned and animal-like monster kidnaps children who misbehaved, on the eve of Christmas. Krampus puts them in his big sack and carries him to his lair, where he eats.
Babayka - fiction or reality?
At first glance, of course, it seems that the character in question is not real. Nobody knows what a babayka looks like, nothing specific is shown in the photo, only hints, assumptions, drawings, pictures and so on. Nevertheless, a sufficient number of people believe in ghosts, poltergeists and UFOs, mainly adults (there are enough fantasy problems for children). Why? There are simply no proofs (just full) of their existence. And now we will not even mention God and religion, but it's all from the same opera: we believe in what we have never seen.
So, it's impossible to answer unequivocally about the reality of baba, as you understand, so all that people have to do is listen to themselves. It does not matter what they say, most importantly, what you believe in yourself. What do you feel? If you want to believe that there is a bamboo, you do not have to persuade yourself to do the opposite, looking at others. This is your truth, your point of view and your faith. If you think that there are no sweets, then you have nothing to worry about. The maximum that can happen in such a case - this creature decides to prove to you the opposite in one of the dark nights, when you stay at home alone.
Children and Babajka
The main category of people who sincerely believe and are afraid of the monster under discussion are children from one to ten years old. It's because children are more impressionable and naive; They often take everything seriously what their parents tell them. The latter, in turn, are happy to try: that the child quickly falls asleep, and also does not wrest them from the kingdom of Morpheus, that they will not tell him. The most common stories of parents are in the top, which should bite the barrel, and in the notorious baba. After that, calm adults go to sleep, leaving their children to be torn apart by fears and questions. What does the butterfly look like? Is it terrible, and if so, how much? Why does not she want a child to get out of bed? What would happen if she climbed out of her hiding place and attacked while the child was sleeping? Of course, basically all these thoughts revolve around children with an extremely developed imagination.
By the way, most children believe in Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, the Mermaid and many other fairy-tale characters. However, if everyone roughly knows the appearance of the above-mentioned heroes, then no one knows about what a real babe looks like, including the parents themselves. And the unknown frightens everyone, because the imagination can present so many horrors that some never dreamed.
How to see bambike
Among other things, you can see babe in movies and cartoons, in pictures, in dreams and in imagination. Naturally, this is not quite what everyone expects, but better than nothing at all.
Conclusion
So, we met with Babaika and her "relatives", and also learned that it is useless to try to find evidence of its existence. Anyone who really meets a mystical creature, especially "dark" and evil, is unlikely to be particularly affected. There are several reasons for this:
- Unwillingness to reveal such a terrible and terrible secret;
- The fear that people will laugh, they will not believe and find it crazy;
- Madness (after such a meeting you can easily go mad);
- Death (witnesses do not like not only criminal personalities, so it is unlikely that the devilish creature will want to let the person after their meeting).
It is worth three times to think before you mess with dark things. Under some situations, the saying "Less know - more tightly asleep" fits just perfectly.
