This place for many years is the favorite among the townspeople and visitors. The square was opened in 1996, on the day of the 300th anniversary of the Russian Navy. It is located on the right bank of the Petrovskaya embankment.

In the center of the square is a 28-meter rastral column. It is decorated with bow parts of ships and is visible from afar. This square has now become a favorite vacation spot and walks among the townspeople. Benches, paths and lawns make it pleasant, and a magnificent view of the reservoir and the left bank attract tourists who want to get to know the sights that the Voronezh is famous for. Admiralteyskaya square is one of the most famous. In addition, near it is an observation deck, which offers a magnificent view of the city.

Voronezh is known throughout the world as the cradle of the Russian fleet. It was here that the shipyards were for building ships. And to perpetuate the memory of this, it was decided to build a copy of the ship of Peter's time. It took almost three years, and in the summer of 2014, on the Day of the Navy, the solemn opening of the ship Goto Predestination was held. It is an exact copy of the first Russian ship built in 1700 in Voronezh. Now the ship is a museum in which you can get acquainted with the everyday life of sailors of the time, with samples of clothing and weapons, with the arrangement of cabins and objects of everyday life. In addition, the ship can swim, it is called - "floating museum".
