Description

The appearance of this fish is unremarkable, but it has its own charms. Body color has a yellowish-brown color with multiple spots, and the abdomen can be saturated yellow or bright orange. Along the body, resembling the body of a snake and having a length of up to 20 cm, there are three dark strips. The nose of the loach is bordered by small antennae, and the tip of the tail has the shape of a scapula. In order for these fish in the aquarium to be in comfort and live there for a long time, the average parameters of the vessel should be as follows: 70x40x40 cm. Before the fish loach settles in your aquarium, it is necessary to properly equip it. After buying an aquarium of suitable sizes and installing it, you need to "lay" the bottom. It is better to make it out of sand, on which to place a pebble. This fish is very active and loves to frolic, so there must be a lot of space and sand should not rise, causing turbidity of the water. This is because at the bottom of the reservoir, where fish are accustomed to live, being in the wild, oxygen is present in small quantities. Their respiratory system has developed to such an extent that it can sometimes function as a lung, that is, draw oxygen from the air. In this process, a specific sound is allocated, strongly resembling a squeak.
