UAZ-39629: purpose, description, technical characteristics

In 1985, the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant began to produce a sanitary minibus, which received the UAZ-39629 index (3962).

The "new" SUV (4x4) was the result of the development of UAZ-452 A and, just like its predecessor, was intended for medical service. The cars looked very similar in appearance: a newer model can be distinguished only by the missing internal fences on the windows. The engine in UAZ-39629 is under the casing in the cab to the right of the driver. Two cars, UAZ-3962 and 39629, are almost identical.
