The right to education

Practically in every modern state the right to education is enjoyed by all citizens without exception. What does this expression mean? The fact that everyone has the right to receive free primary, basic general, and at the same time secondary vocational education. It must be public. You can get it in municipal or state institutions.

The right of the child to education is enshrined in the Constitution. It also says that on a competitive basis each of us has the opportunity to get higher education.

Only the basic general education is compulsory in our country . One of the most important parental responsibilities is to control how the child receives it.

In our country there are certain federal state. Standards of education. Certain minimums are also set. Forms of education are allowed different. The possibility of self-education is not excluded.

A person has many rights and freedoms. Among them, the right to education occupies a very important position. Do not forget that it is due to him that you can make the population of the country intellectually developed. The constitutional right to education is one of the foundations of a democratic system.

The main principles of public policy related to education are as follows:

- the nature of education is humanistic. Everything should be built on respect for universal human values, health, as well as life. All the interests of the individual must be taken into account;

- cultural and educational spaces should be one. The interests of small nations should be taken into account, the infringement in the process of education on a national basis (in principle, like any other) is unacceptable;

- education should be public;

- the nature of education can only be secular. The imposition of certain religious beliefs on children is impossible. Note that this rule has recently been increasingly violated. Modern religious organizations do not miss the opportunity to conduct this or that propaganda among students;

- in education there is pluralism (meaning multi-truth);

- educational institutions are autonomous, and citizens of the country have the right to take part in their management.

The right to education not only exists, but it is also guaranteed. Legislation guarantees that education can be obtained by any person. At the same time, gender, nationality, religious views and so on have no significance at all. Also , the origin, social and material status, place of residence does not influence the education.

Do these guarantees work? Act, but not as we would like. The fact is that the quality of teaching in rural schools still leaves much to be desired. In rural areas there is always a shortage of teachers, technical equipment is poor, graduates of this kind of educational institutions are not always willingly accepted to prestigious universities.

We all have the right to education, but not all of us want to realize it in full. You can learn at least the rest of your life, but we are eager to get any diploma and start earning money. Looking around, it's easy to make sure that the level of education falls. People who actually have at least some thought in their eyes are getting smaller.

Is the state trying to raise the level of education? Unfortunately no. Our government has long been doing everything possible to make scientists less. The situation of teachers does not improve, standards are getting lower and lower.

Yes, we can not take the right to a certain educational minimum, but they can change this "minimum". Nobody will abolish the right to free higher education. Instead, there will be fewer universities, which is why the competition will be very high on admission.
