The paralyzed father was able to lead his daughter to the altar thanks to a bionic costume

Chris Palmer was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer, which made him completely paralyzed below the waist.

Bionic costume for a wedding

After the operation, a 55-year-old man admitted: his biggest fear is that he will never be able to take his daughter Heather to the altar at her wedding. But last year, the family had a hope when Heather saw an article about a company that produces exoskeletons that allow paralyzed people to stand and walk again without help. Chris' daughter got in touch with a company called Rex Bionics, who happily lent a device worth ninety thousand pounds sterling to the Palmer family for this special day. As a result, after several training sessions last Saturday, Chris's dream was fulfilled - he was able to lead his daughter to the altar. "The fact that I was able to do this is simply incredible, this is what every father dreams of doing in his life," Palmer said on his wedding day. "When I was in the hospital after the operation, all I could think about was how I could walk next to my daughter on the most important day for her." And Heather is sure that there are a lot of people in the world who are in the same situation as her father, but who do not know about the existence and possibility of using such bionic costumes. And she set out to change this.
