The hormone is estrogen. The recipe for the ugly duckling

The hormone estrogen in childhood does not greatly affect the life of the child. If you look in the summer to a sandbox in which small children frolic, then it's hard to make out who is the boy and who is the girl. Everyone eats the same, they make noise, they play. The form of the body is childlike. The child's organism in this period is focused on the development of internal organs. The entire endocrine system produces the hormones that are necessary for these processes.

By the age of ten, the endocrine system of the body begins to produce hormonal changes in the child's body. Hypothalamus and pituitary gland - the main controllers in this process - decide that it's time for a vile duckling to start turning into a swan. There is a signal that it's time to start producing sex hormones. By this time, the ovaries and adrenal glands had already formed in the girl's body. It is these glands that produce sex hormones, the main of which for the future woman is the hormone estrogen.

Having received a signal from the head in the form of follicle - stimulating hormones, the ovaries under their influence actively begin to grow follicles. They are like bubbles in which immature eggs live. The walls of these vesicles are the tissues from which the hormone estrogen is built.

Estrogen is the name of not just one hormone, but a whole group of special chemicals that are similar in structure and action. The most common hormones from this group are the hormone estradiol and the hormone estrone. It is about them and their derivatives that we are talking about when the term "hormone estrogen" sounds.

What are the tasks of this hormone?

First of all, prepare the girl for motherhood. In the first time of the transition period, estrogen hormones change the appearance of the girl. She begins to grow rapidly, ahead of her peers-boys. The pelvis widens, the waist appears, the chest grows. The skin becomes smooth, covered with a fat layer. Hair appears in the armpits, on the legs below the knees and on the pubis.

The next stage is the development of the genital organs, preparation for the first menstruation. Actively preparing the uterus to take the embryo is estrogen. A deficiency of this hormone often leads to infertility, since the uterine membrane is not capable of fixing the embryo to the wall. Also estrogenic substances take part in shaping the figure of the future swan, weight, memory and even character.

When the girl formed and came that long-awaited day, the swan won hearts, estrogen does not leave the stage. He is still necessary for our beauty. Over the years, estrogen will be produced by the ovaries to maintain the girl's external state at the highest level.

It is interesting that during the heyday, which a woman begins at the age of thirty, the need for estrogen rises sharply. The ovaries themselves are unable to provide them in full. They come to the aid of the adrenal glands, which also begin to produce estrogen. This cooperation of the glands gives the woman the opportunity to be beautiful, beloved and to experience the joy and happiness that motherhood and marital life bring.

However, time always moves forward. Once it was a friend who promoted the child to adulthood: it helped the vile duckling to become an excellent swan. Now the same time becomes the enemy - there comes the period of menopause.

Ovaries are tired, their activity faded, a rare visitor in the body of a woman became estrogen. The lack of this hormone leads to loss of muscle mass, reduction of breast, brittle bones, aging of the skin. In the vessels accumulates cholesterol, which was previously excreted by estrogen.

Time does not turn back, but help the body in this period is possible. The fact is that estrogens are produced not only by our body, they are found in many plants and animals. If you find out what is contained in estrogen, it can be supplied to the body by yourself. This substance is rich in many foods. Among them, soybeans, beans, cereals are leading . It also occurs in animal fat: hard cheese, meat, dairy products, fish.
