The Holy Book of Buddhism is a reflection of the religion of India

Buddhism is the first world and leading religion in most parts of India, but today it also extends to the territories of many other states. The origin of Buddhism is connected with the name of Siddhartha Gautama, better known as the Buddha.

Gautama was the son of Raja, who hoped that his son would continue his activities and become a well-known ruler of India. Buddha at a very young age already had his own family, but remained unhappy with his life. As many writings indicate, the father tried to protect Gautama from the outside world, but soon the Buddha himself learned of the many sufferings of the common people. It was from this moment on that the young man leaves his relatives and goes to find a solution to the problem of all the suffering people.

Over the years, he sought the truth in Judaism by studying all the disciplines of yoga. For some time, the Buddha lived in deepening into asceticism, than he brought himself to physical exhaustion and barely survived. Soon he came to the truth, which said that the cause of all human suffering is an irresistible desire, leading a person. According to the Buddha, all people have certain life goals, to which they aspire and do not neglect anything, just to achieve the desired.

Upon learning this truth, Gautama went to the people with the goal of helping many people get rid of suffering by passing on their knowledge to them. After Buddha's death, Buddhism spread to all regions of India in a short time.

There is a sacred book of Buddhism - the Tipitaka, which contains all the truths. There is a sacred scripture of Buddhism from three parts. The first part contains rules, is intended only for Buddhists of the highest rank, the second - a kind of narrative of the Buddha about the perniciousness of human desires and his guidance on the true path, the third part - the canonical Buddhist teaching. According to historians, the main book of Buddhism was written not by the Buddha himself, but by his disciples immediately after his death.

The sacred book of Buddhism was originally written in the Pali language, which was considered transitional between Sanskrit and modern Indian languages. The scripture was born on ordinary palm leaves, on which the Buddha wrote down his truths. These leaves were placed in a basket, where they were found by the disciples of Gautama. Therefore, the sacred book of Buddhism is still known as the "three baskets of wisdom."

In 1871 in Myanmar was organized a cathedral, attended by many monks of the state and created a sacred book of Buddhists Tipitaka. It took a long time to compose the text. After the completion of such a responsible work on the creation of scriptures, the text was cut out on 729 marble slabs. Each plate, concealing the Buddhist religion, was placed in a separate temple. Thus, appeared a miniature wonderful town, consisting of sacred writings.

The sacred book of Buddhism exists in parallel with the Pali Law, which absorbed 550 stories - jatok, describing all the exploits of the Buddha. The Buddhist cult does not contain complex rituals and is sent only by monks who read the canonical Buddhist texts. Lay people in India do not have the right to participate in worship. At present, the holy book of the Buddhism of the Tipitaka is translated into many European languages, thanks to which it is actively studied by many scientists.

The main book of Buddhists included a variety of texts, which are stories about the life and activities of the Buddha, the rules of behavior of Buddhist monks, religious and philosophical treatises, verse compositions. Buddhists for their religion use a variety of iconic signs, which is typical for all other religious directions.
