Tatar Airlines: punctually and reliably

Tatarstan is a republic with a population of about 4 million people, part of the Russian Federation. In Russia, it is included in the Volga Federal District. The capital is Kazan. In July 2013, the world sports student games "Universiade - 2013" were held. There are many historical monuments of architecture and culture on the territory of Tatarstan, therefore the republic is a rather attractive place of visiting for tourists.

Air carriers

Air transportation of passengers is carried out by two Tatar airlines: Airlines "Tatarstan" and "Ak Bars Aero". Thanks to the work of these air carriers to get to the capital of the Republic of Kazan, you can not only from anywhere in Russia, but also from the CIS and far abroad, using direct flights.

Airline "Tatarstan"

The airlines of Tatarstan, represented by the airline "Tatarstan" - a reliable inter-regional carrier. The company was established in 1999 on the basis of merged Nizhnekamsk and Kazan squadrons. The basing airports are Kazan and Begishevo (Nizhnekamsk). Aircraft of the airline carry out charters to all major cities of Russia, as well as to countries of the far and near abroad. In 2012, the Tatar Airlines carried about 600 thousand people. It is assumed that in 2013 the number of passengers will grow to one million. Airbus A-319 is represented in the carrier's fleet, Tu-154 airplanes are used in inter-regional transportation. In 2012, the company refused to cooperate with the Bulgarian holding company Khimimport and returned all the Boeing 737 aircraft that had become unusable due to the inability to operate them: the overhaul of these aircraft is too expensive.

One of the newest promising acquisitions, which first flew into the skies of the Republic of Tatarstan, the airline considers small aircraft of American production "Cessna Carava". These small aircraft were purchased as part of a growing program for the revival of domestic flights, which had once become unpromising due to the high-relative distance-the cost of the flight. Tatar Airlines is planning to replace the new "Cessna" with the forgotten "corn" in the framework of the social program, which used to be used for short distance flights. The capacity of the American aircraft is 9 people, and the range of flight - no more than 300 km. By 2015, the fleet is planning to introduce 45 vessels of this class.

Most recently, in the spring of 2013, the airline "Tatarstan" signed a memorandum with the company "Turkish Airlines" on joint cooperation.

The airline "Ak Bars Aero"

Another airline that represents Tatar Airlines is Ak Bars Aero. Like Tatarstan, it is a major air carrier on long-distance and international routes. It was formed on the basis of the Bugulma air squadron (Bugulma airport), and in 2005 it became a member of the Holding Company Ak Bars. This airline was often recognized as the most punctual air carrier. Its fleet is represented by Canadian aircraft "Bombardier CRJ-200LR" and Russian aircraft "Yak-40".
