Sociology of personality

Sociology of personality is a field of sociology that studies the ways, mechanisms, strategies of individual interactions and relationships in society. Sociology of personality studies the structure of the whole society, socio-cultural processes (associated with the process of adaptation in society and socialization). Also sociology of personality is understood as a set of sociological oriented theories of personality (psychologized, status-role, culturological, etc.).

The concept of the sociology of the individual expresses the integrity of the qualities of the individual and the stable properties of the character: from the relations of groups and the system of connections, institutions and communities, from his socialization and education to a certain culture, from his activity and stay in a particular situation and socio-cultural environment.

Formation and formation of personality are considered in different concepts of education, socialization and upbringing. These personality learning strategies, which differ in their conceptual design and methodological grounds, have taken shape as a whole in the nonclassical (the neoclassical stage, inclusive), the process of sociological development associated with the "dawn" of topics in sociology and personal issues.

The individual (personality) simultaneously occupies different positions in society, and is doomed to the consistent or simultaneous performance of roles in society, the loss or acquisition of those or other.
