Shahri Amirkhanova: biography, personal life, career

Shahri Khizrievna Amirkhanova is one of the four granddaughters of the Soviet poet Rasul Gamzatov. Became famous for laborious work, not for family ties. Despite the exotic Dagestan name and surname, Shahri was born and raised in Moscow.

The first attempts to become independent took the girl in 13 years. By the way, at that time her grandmother was engaged in the beauty of Shahri, she took the girl to plastic surgeons, where she was made rhinoplasty. In Moscow, Shahri Amirkhanova enters the Moscow State University, where she chooses the specialty "foreign languages". In parallel with studies, the girl takes a job in the fashion department of the magazine Cosmopolitan. Constant contact with the fashion industry attracts the girl, and she decides to develop precisely in this direction. To fulfill his dream Shahri again leaves Russia and enters the London College of Fashion. For Russian projects and fashion magazines such an education was a novelty, but Rasul Gamzatov's granddaughter was not used to being like everyone else and giving up halfway.

Achievements of goals

The heyday of career begins in 21 year. It was then that the same Derk Sauer and the already-acclaimed Independent Media house again invited the girl to work. But now Shahri Amirkhanova occupies the new prestigious position of the editor of the glossy publication Harper's Bazaar. In Europe and America, the magazine was very well-known, so many fashionistas wondered how such a turn will be handled by a fragile girl at age 21 with little or no work experience. Envious people predicted the failure of the first issues under the leadership of Shahri.

But everything happened exactly the opposite: the magazine began to gain popularity, and sales and print runs grew with each release. In particular, Shahri's interesting decision contributed to this: she came up with the rubric "Diaries", where the girl described her life and the events taking place in her. Something this move resembles today's blogs, but then such a decision was not ordinary and was a novelty for readers.

Her talent and steel grip editor Harper's bazaar and Tatler officially recognized in 2005, at an event among recognized businessmen and entrepreneurs. There Shahri Amirkhanova received the women's prize "Olympia".

For a long time she longed to lose the wild tempo and simply enjoy nature, solitude and tranquility. Friendly support from colleagues or acquaintances was absent, and as a result, Shahri closed and ceased to like even herself. The creative, vulnerable nature has not been reconciled with the ambitious business plans of the leaders.

Other priorities

Now Shahri Amirkhanova, whose biography has radically changed, also revised her views on life. She has long abandoned fancy designer outfits and high heels. The girl thinks that the thingism has long out of fashion, and its unique wardrobe is simply giving away to friends or transporting it to the dacha. Looking good is a simple concept for a girl, it lies in the organic and lightness of the image.

Although even in her youth Shahri understood that she did not want to be engaged in fashion business in forty years and conduct a glossy magazine. In old times and social events, Shahri does not miss. Despite family troubles, the girl has many fresh ideas. One of them is the creation of a collection of children's clothing. Young mother has already opened a store of designer children's clothing Alisa & Sonya. In old times, she does not have nostalgia. She is puzzled why everyone so surprised her departure from the editorial office, and only occasionally remembers her colleagues with whom she worked in the same team. The future of Shahri is in limbo, because it does not even represent where it can be after a couple of months. And what is most interesting, she likes it. She has long been dreaming of living in America for a few more months, where her husband will record a new album, do charity work, come to Grandpa's homeland in Dagestan and visit a local school there.

She has no far-reaching plans, but Shahri continues to develop as a person. Now she does not care about popularity and gossip at parties, but much more important is the atmosphere in the house. Calm life brought balance and femininity into the life of Shahri Amirkhanova.
