Complex sentences in Russian have a heterogeneous structure, different means of communication and connotations of meaning. The additive parts in them are divided into explanatory, determinative, circumstantial.
Attributive explanatory
A sentence sentence is attached to the main sentence with the help of allied words and unions: how much, where, what, how much, so that, like , etc. The basic type of connection between the two parts is control: the verbal forms of the main rule the grammatical forms of other members of the subordinate: Stupid, who believes that a scoundrel can be corrected, re-educated.
1. Verbs of lexico-semantic groups:
- "Perception": to feel, hear, feel , etc .;
- "Emotional-psychological state": want, be bored, rejoice, sad, sorry , etc .;
- "Speaking": explain, agree, tell, scream, yell, talk , etc .;
- "Thought process": to count, understand, think , etc .;
- "Emotional message": threatening, praying, complaining.
2. Adjectives that perform the function of control and express different shades of emotional states: happy, agree, guilty .
3. Modally predicative units: it is necessary, painful, sorry .
In the sentence, the subordinate explanatory is always after the words being defined. This criterion is the main limitation. The place of the subordinate can be after the main or inside it: About the fact that many laws of nature cease to work, scientists once again seriously began to speak recently.
Lexical groups of the CPR with subordinate explanatory
- Pridatochnoe explanatory with the union that narrates about the facts that are real and have place to be: I was not mistaken in the statement that the storm will begin not earlier than evening.
- The Union as in the CPR refers to those words in the main sentence that are associated with the expression of thought processes and perceptions: We noticed how one out of the total mass of the horsemen stood alone and galloped a little further.
- The adverbative explanatory, attached to the main unions as if, as though, as though others, gives the predicate unit a general shade of semantic uncertainty, an element of the allegedness of what is reported in it: It seemed to him that the mother was not entirely happy with them.
Of course, there are a lot of such additional shades. Thanks to them, the communicative and informational framework of complex sentences is expanding and their total number is increasing in our speech.
