Plasticine for the youngest - the first steps in modeling

To acquaint the kid with plasticine it is possible already in one-year or a half-year-old age. After modeling - it's a great opportunity to have fun and usefully, and, in addition, develop fine motor skills, spatial thinking, imagination and imagination! In order for the child to like modeling, it is important to choose only high-quality and age-appropriate materials for classes. So, plasticine for the youngest should be soft, bright and not strongly stick to the hands. But most importantly - it must be absolutely safe, because children very often pull everything in their mouths.

Starting lessons modeling, do not immediately try to teach the karapuza to do "sausages" and "balls", and even more so try to master more complex figures. To begin with, it is better to offer a child plasticine for the youngest and allow him to independently examine and explore an unfamiliar thing. Do not immediately give the child all the brusochki or jars - one or two colors are enough for the first acquaintance. The child will be very interested in crushing the magic clay in the handles and watching how he changes shape. Mom should immediately prepare for the fact that after a fun session, you will most likely need to wash the crumbs and rub the adherent clay from the surface of the table and the floor, but the result, namely the happy little face of the baby, his interest and burning eyes, it's worth it! And in order to minimize the subsequent cleaning, you should carefully organize the workplace, using special planks for modeling. The floor under the chair can be covered with an oilcloth or newspaper, which is especially important if the creative process takes place in a room with a carpet on the floor.

Process or result

Often, when offering a clerical clerical for the youngest, Mom thinks that after a couple of familiarization sessions, one can already turn to serious lessons. In her dreams she is already making plans how to teach a child to sculpt some or other of the simplest figures, but in practice she is confronted with the fact that the child is not at all interested in such "conscious" creativity (this is true for children of the first 2-3 years of life). Often a crumb just sculpts something, and then looks at what happened. For the baby, the process of molding is important, and not its result. Therefore, there is no need to force events, because the most important thing is to instill in the child interest in modeling, and everything else will come with age and experience. Especially since it's so exciting - to try to understand what happened in the end, and try to see in an incomprehensible subject some recognizable features!

However, this does not mean that you need to put the child at the table, give him a soft plasticine and give to yourself, simply detached watching his safety: let them say that he himself understands the properties of objects and learns to create independently. After all, in this case, the kid will lose interest in modeling by one or two of these "activities", while working together with his mother or father (as well as older brothers and sisters) will help to instill a love for this fascinating creativity!

Lessons for kids

So, plasticine for the youngest is bought, the workplace is prepared - it's time to create! In order to interest the child, it is worthwhile to offer him interesting and unusual games. For example, in order to teach a carapace to pick off pieces of plasticine, you can play with him in chickens and chickens, who are very eager to try the seeds and ask the child to help them. It will be interesting for the kid to tear off small pieces from the block of plasticine and treat them to chickens (which you can simply draw, cut from paper or use crumbs toys).

Also, many babies like to create "plasticine applications", which are great for first acquaintance with plasticine. The options can be a lot: the mother paints the cloud, and the baby adds a plasticine rain from the slices-droplets, the mother paints the tree, and the baby decorates it with leaves and fruits, the mother paints the red fly agaric, and the baby adds it with white dots ... For such games, you can Use ready-made benefits, and you can invent and draw pictures yourself, with which any adult can easily cope. In addition to creating plasticine applications, the baby may like smeared soft plasticine on cardboard or thick paper - this is also a great way to get to know the fascinating process of modeling.

And most importantly - the child should see that modeling is interesting not only to him, but also to his mother. If for the mother such activities are a "heavy duty", causing irritation and a desire to quickly "shoot out" and finish the lesson, the probability that the carapace will be interested in modeling is drastically reduced. But if my mother loves to create with the baby (it does not matter how good she is), the child appears much more likely to love modeling!
