In the world cinema there are quite a few stars that have achieved glory due to their appearance. However, the present talents are able to conquer the audience hearts even with one voice. Matveev Dmitry is one of them. He played in more than 4 dozen movies, and also voiced the most famous actors of the planet.

Childhood

Matveyev Dmitry Nikolaevich was born in Potsdam (GDR) in 1953. His mother at that time worked in the Soviet theater as a make-up artist, and his father also served as a machinist of the scene. Soon the family returned to their homeland and settled in the capital.

At the age of 3, Dima Matveyev starred in the episodic role of Nikolashka in the short film based on A. Gaidar's novel Let Let It Shine (1960). Perhaps this predetermined his future destiny.

During my studies

In 1981 Matveyev Dmitry graduated from the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography. There he was lucky to learn from such masters of the Soviet screen, as Sergei Bondarchuk and Irina Skobtseva. Another student Matveyev began to invite to play in the cinema. His first serious work was the main role of Yuri in the short film "Labyrinth", in which he starred in 1979. The film "The State Border. Year of the 41st »

In the life of every actor there is a role that is most significant in his career. For Matveyev, this was the image of Ilya Sushentsov, a young officer who was infinitely devoted to the Motherland and ready to sacrifice his life for her.

The film "Year forty-first" is the fifth part of the well-known TV series "The State Border". It tells about the events unfolding since mid-June 1941 at the outpost, near which is the territory of Poland, occupied by the fascists. One day Lieutenant Sushentsov responded by fire to provocation of Wehrmacht soldiers, violating the order not to get involved in an armed conflict. However, it can not be punished, as on June 22 the German units invade the territory of the USSR. Zaszawa Sushentsov is one of the first to be attacked. The commander, together with his soldiers, provides heroic resistance to the enemy.

After the release of the picture on the screens Matveyev acquired hundreds of thousands of fans and admirers in all corners of our country and earned the title of the most courageous lieutenant of Soviet cinema of the last years of his existence.

In the late 80's

Interesting roles Dmitry Matveyev, whose photo in the youth were snapped up by the fans, played in the years of Perestroika. Among them, one can mention the work in the pictures "The Land of My Childhood" directed by Anatoly Nitochkin, "Summer Impressions of the Planet Z" by Evgeny Markovsky, "The Criminal Quartet", etc.

In addition, in 1987, the screens went to the 6th part of the series "State Border", which was dedicated to Soviet border guards who are engaged in the destruction of gangs of nationalists in the territory of Western Ukraine. In the film the spectator again met Ilya Sushentsov in the performance of Dmitry Matveyev. According to the plot, he went through the whole war, rose to the rank of major and took over the post of chief of border guard.

"The Shore of Salvation"

This picture, in which the main role was played by Dmitry Matveyev, was undeservedly left in our country. It was filmed by Russian and Korean cinematographers in 1990. The film tells about the events that took place during the Russo-Japanese War. According to the plot of the picture, a warship, commanded by the hero of Dmitry Matveyev, is wrecked off the coast of Korea. Surviving team members decide to make their way home to the land. . On the way, they have to engage in fights with the Japanese, who use their skills of taekwondo .

Career in the 90s

At the beginning of the last decade of the 20th century, Matveyev, like other actors of the former Soviet Union, had a dark streak. The cinema was going through a deep crisis, and new films were practically not shot. However, Dmitry Nikolaevich found, as they say, his niche. At that time, the domestic viewer had the opportunity to watch foreign films and serials, so the dubbing masters always had a lot of work. One of those who "gave" his voice to the stars of Hollywood and the world of cinema, was Dmitry Matveyev. The actor took part in the scoring of such popular films as The Chronicles of Riddick and The Black Hole, which duplicated Vina Diesel, Predator (Arnold Schwarzenegger), Leon (Jean Reno and other male roles), etc.

In addition, the voice of Matveyev in most of the films translated into Russian, says Sylvester Stallone, Samuel L. Jackson, Mel Gibbson, and others.

Work on TV

Dmitry Matveyev, who watched films with pleasure in all the cities of the Soviet Union, also voiced the advertisement and election campaign of Boris Yeltsin. In 1995, he became the voiceover of the "Road Patrol" program, which appeared on TV-6. In addition, the next year he was invited to ORT, where he voiced the television projects "Operation" and "Hour Rush." Then Matveyev switched to "TV Center" in the program "Petrovka, 38", and was also an offscreen announcer on the same channel.

Participation in serials

Like many successful actors of the Soviet period, Matveev began to appear in serials and, I must say, quite successfully. After the release of the first TV-screens of the first projects with his participation, the proposals fell from all sides.

Among the most famous serials in which Matveev played, you can mark TV projects:

  • "Deadly number."
  • "Eldest daughter".
  • "Under cover".
  • "I'm leaving you to look for 2".
  • "The embezzlers."
  • "Pursuit of the shadow."
  • "The mistress of the taiga."
  • "Attraction Grab".
  • "A woman without a past."
  • "Destined to become a star."
  • "Do not forget".
  • "Carmelita" and others.

Special mention deserves the series "The Silent Witness", in which Matveyev inherited the main role of the investigator Malov. His script is based on real events, and the episodes are shot in the style of reconstruction and represent a complete story. The work of forensic experts and criminologists is very detailed, the results of which are discussed by Malov and his collaborators, on the basis of which conclusions are drawn and the most intricate crimes are revealed.

A lot of positive reviews had a TV series "Doomed to Become a Star", in which Dmitry Matveyev played the role of producer Leonid Salin. This character has a complicated relationship with his ex-wife. Becoming a star, the woman went to a younger and more promising producer. However, she soon realizes her mistake and seeks to restore relations with Saline.

Now you know what roles the actor Dmitry Matveyev played. His personal life is a mystery with seven seals, which he does not want to advertise. Moreover, Matveyev rarely gives interviews. However, this does not prevent his faithful fans from rejoicing at every meeting on the screen with their favorite actor and waiting for new films with his participation.
