"Marmalade" for the design of nails: step by step instruction

The effect of "marmalade" for the design of nails is a new original version of the execution of manicure with the help of gel-varnish. The technique of applying marmalade is very simple, anyone who knows the basics of manicure with gel-lacquer can master it.

Variety of "marmalade" manicure

In the form of the material "marmalade" is a multi-colored powder or sand. From acrylic powder, it is distinguished by the large size of grains of sand. And because of the larger texture, the "marmalade" is slightly rough to the touch. The popularity of this manicure is growing every day, and the palette of colors today is more than 35 colors.

Using "marmalade" for the design of nails, you can make two different manicures:

  • Marmalade effect;
  • Effect of "candied" nails.

Both types of nail design will look appetizing, bright and unusual. Two of these "sweet" manicure is distinguished only by the method of application, which is described below.

Creating the effect of "jujube"

When creating a manicure with gel-varnish, you must carefully follow the instructions for using it. It depends on how long the manicure will be. We provide step-by-step instructions on how to apply marmalade for the design of nails on your own and at home:

  1. The first thing to do is to prepare the nails well, that is, to do the basic manicure. You need to give the desired shape to the nails and carefully work the cuticle.
  2. Nail plates before applying gel-varnish should be as flat as possible, therefore we put on them a buff.
  3. The next step is to treat the nails with a degreaser. Once it is applied, it is impossible to touch the nail plate.
  4. The primer is applied to the nails. This is done in order to open the scales of the nail plate. So the interaction with the gel-varnish will become as tight as possible. After applying the primer, wait until the nail is white.
  5. We put a transparent basis, we send to dry nails under an ultraviolet lamp. The drying time is indicated in the instructions to the substrate. After drying, remove the sticky layer.
  6. Next, apply a color layer. It should not be very thick, so that when it dries it does not flow and does not crack. Its drying also occurs under an ultraviolet lamp. Then do not erase the sticky layer, and proceed to the application of powder.
  7. On the sticky layer, we apply colored sand and gently rub it with a brush. Then brush off the excess material.
  8. Cover the nail plates with a finishing coat and dry in an ultraviolet lamp for two minutes.

This is how the nail design "marmalade" is obtained, the photo of which we see in the article. Everything is pretty quick and simple, the main thing is to remember the sequence.

Creating "candied" marigolds

The sequence of the "sugar" manicure does not differ much from the technique of performing "marmalade" for the design of nails. Several nuances change.

Items 1-5 are repeated exactly as for "marmalade," but in paragraph 6, the final stage will be complete removal of the adhesive layer and obtaining a completely finished nail. After this, we put the base (rubber) on the nail plate and sprinkle it with powder on top. Do not feel sorry for the consumable material by applying it to the nail. Then we send it to the lamp for 2 minutes. And we get ready-made "sugar" marigolds. Remains of the material are easily removed with a brush. Additionally, there is no need to cover the nail plate with the finish.

The instructions for creating a style of "marmalade" for the design of nails indicated that the color gel-lacquer is applied in one layer. But if there is a need to apply a second layer to create a picture or increase the color density, then no one prohibits it.
