This is exactly the technique that is mastered immediately after the chain of air loops, without which, in principle, it is impossible to start any work.

So, what is a column without a crochet hook? In order to create it, you need to type a chain of air loops (or already have a knitted fabric of some length). Knitting is from the right to the left. Do not be confused by the photos of this lesson. They are very good for the left-hander, but the person knitting with his right hand should do everything in a mirror image.

If you start working with a chain of loops, then you should enter the hook into the second (counting from the hook) loop. If you start a new series in an existing canvas, you first need to dial one air loop (a loop of rotation, as it is often called experienced knitters).
