Knitting - Booties for Toddlers

The most pleasant expectation in life is the expectation of the birth of a new man. With this moment is connected and moral preparation of parents for a birth, and acquisition of children's furniture, a carriage given for the newborn. Many future mummies and grannies try to do some things themselves, rather than buying them in stores. Moreover, articles of own production often turn out to be more interesting and original.

Women especially like the process of knitting. Booties are the simplest things for cute toddlers, so mom can tie them up with her own hands. There are many different ways of making these soft slippers: both crocheted and knitting needles. Even the question of how to knit booties on knitting needles has a lot of different solutions. For example, you can knit on five spokes. Booties in this version can be carried out according to the scheme of socks, with subsequent decorations in the form of decoration with special finishing seams of the sole and the upper part of the lift.

But there is also a second way of knitting pinets on five spokes. Begin the execution of this model you need from the soles. For its manufacture, only two needles are needed so far. First, 7 loops are typed, and 1 loop is added to each row by double tying the last edge. So knit 4 rows until 11 loops are formed in the row. The sole is usually knitted solely by the facial. When the desired size is reached, the row should be reduced in the beginning and at the end. This algorithm is repeated 2 times, as a result, the initial number of loops remains.

Now proceed to the set of loops for three more spokes, so that the knitting of the booties itself would be placed on four spokes, and the fifth one would be working. To do this, on the rim of the soles, you need to dial 7 loops for each of the three spokes. If, on the other hand, it turns out that the right amount is typed, and the rim of the sole is still not fully involved, you can get extra loops, evenly placing them later on all the spokes. It should be written down the number of typed loops so that knitting booties left does not differ from the manufacture of the right, otherwise the slippers can turn out to be of different sizes.

The next stage is the design of the wound or the height of the booties. It consists in knitting around the sole of the soles so that the height of the booties is 3-4 cm. The first row should be bound with a back loop to highlight the sole.

Then comes the most difficult stage -   Direct registration of the ascent. This stage involves knitting on two spokes. It should be distinguished front 7 loops on one spoke. In each row, 6 loops should be tied in the usual way, and the last loop should be tied together with a neighboring loop, which must be transferred to the working spoke. After that, the knitting is unfolded and knitted the other way by the same algorithm.

This should be done until the moment when 7 loops remain on all the spokes. Then knitting goes back to circular. Now you can knit an elastic band or transfer it to a crochet. If you have the skills to work with this simple adaptation, then you will be able to tie beautiful openwork lapels that easily turn booties into jackboots. Ankle can be wrapped around a string or sew on the underside of an elastic band. Only you should be very careful not to squeeze the child's leg too tightly: booties should only be easily held on the foot, and not tightly tied on the ankle!

But some mummies do not know how or just dislike knitting on 5 spokes. For them, you can offer a description of the method, telling how to bind booties on two spokes. A simple model of such pinets consists of two parts, which will later need to be sewn with a sewing needle. The first detail is the sole. The way of its manufacturing was described above.

For the second part, the main one, you should type 40 loops and tie 3-4 cm. Then gently in the middle you need to select 6 loops and only knit them, at the end of each row after tying the main 6 loops the next two are knit together. Thus, the nasal part of booties is obtained.

When there are 30 loops left on the spoke in the edge, the rows begin to be tied to the end. This will be the binding of the lapel of the product. It can be made of arbitrary size. After closing the loops and finishing the binding, the edge loops are stitched, and the sole is sewn to the expanded end. Booties can also be decorated with pompons or bows, embroideries or appliques. Do not forget about the strings!
