Bead weaving is a worthy option for home rest, an activity that brings a lot of pleasures and positive emotions. Creating your own unique products, you can open your creative potential, relax after stressful situations, and finally, independently make a wonderful and unique gift.

However, if you are not new to this business, and try to boldly embody all your fantasies in weaving beads, then it will be difficult for you to find the necessary beads that fit in size, color and texture, especially since you will have to spend a lot of time searching for them. At the moment, there are many ways to make beads yourself, some of them may suit you.
To learn how to make a good glass beads, you should attend the "lampwork" courses, where specially trained craftsmen will teach you everything you need. But this method is not suitable for everyone, since its implementation requires the use of additional materials (a burner, a special gas, a refractory surface, a muffle furnace , etc.), and consequently, entails considerable costs. In addition, it is desirable that all this be in a separate room with a good natural ventilation.

Original beads can be created with beads, for this purpose it is enough to connect several beads, not necessarily the same size, with a fishing line. We need to weave in several rows, tightly connecting them together. To your beads do not fall apart, it is necessary several times to pass a fishing line through beads of the upper row, and then tie reliable knots.

Very popular are beads made of polymer clay or plastics, making them yourself is very simple. This material is quite simple for modeling, beads can be bought in many specialized stores at a low price. In order to make the plastic more elastic, stretch it with your hands, then give the desired shape, it can be oval, round or square, depending on your wishes. When the bead is ready, pierce it with a pin or needle, thereby making a hole. Beads should be strung on rods of metal or wood, and after that you can lay them on a baking tray and bake in the oven. As a rule, roasting is performed from 10 to 30 minutes at a temperature of approximately 135 ° C, instructions on the package will help you to observe the necessary temperature regime.

There is also another way of making beads of different sizes and shapes. It is even simpler than the previous one, and does not require much effort or special effort. The main ingredients in this method are, oddly enough, ordinary toilet paper and PVA glue. The paper needs to be torn into small pieces and dropped into a plastic cup, and then poured with water and left for a few hours. When the allotted time is over, gently squeeze out the resulting mass and add about 100 grams of PVA glue, then mix well, you can use a mixer so that the surface of the beads is as smooth as possible. From the resultant mass, you can start to form a variety of beads, whether it be balls, squares or hearts. Dents in beads can easily be made with a usual toothpick or awl, but not earlier than three hours, when the products are completely dry. Well, then you can use your imagination. Finished beads can be covered with a cloth, painted, interconnected, used to decorate the picture frames and much more. The most important thing is the desire to create beauty with your own hands, and if you have it, then you are on the right track.
