Hair shampoos: what do I need to know?

Well-groomed and beautiful hair wants to have almost everything. And shampoos for hair are the means, without which, perhaps, no modern man can do. To ensure that hair care is most effective, shampoo should be chosen correctly.

All existing shampoos can be conditionally divided into four large categories. These are shampoos for regular use (even daily), professional shampoos, medical shampoos and shade tonic shampoos.

More about each species

Those hair shampoos that are designed for regular use are usually freely sold in any store and supermarket. They are quite acceptable, they effectively purify the hair and scalp. Expect such a shampoo revolutionary effect is not worth it. Nothing but purification, they do not give. Choosing such a product, it is better to give preference, at least, to the middle price segment. Very cheap shampoos, most likely, are ineffective. And in the worst case, they can contain substances that are frankly harmful to the hair and the body as a whole. Such, for example, as formaldehydes, or oils, which are obtained as a result of oil refining. Parabens are not particularly useful. To date, the most popular brands are: Clean Line, FRUCTIS, Schauma, Pantene, Head & Shoulders, Dove and the like. They are quite effective, but they are produced by reliable and proven manufacturers.

Professional shampoos for hair have their own characteristics. Their composition is much more "powerful" than that for daily use, they are more concentrated. In this case, the main emphasis is the cleansing of the hair (as deep as possible). This is done in order to facilitate and optimize further procedures (staining, styling, haircut). It is clear that such products are used, mainly, for salon procedures. At home, the use of such drugs is rarely justified. If you really want to use a professional tool at home - you can do it without fears more often than once a month. For in the salon the master knows exactly how much shampoo is needed for you. It is not so easy to understand this independently. The most popular brands of professional shampoos are: Paul Mitchell, Kerastase, Helen Seward.

Curative hair shampoos - a rather complex topic. They are designed to solve a specific problem: seborrhea, dandruff, progressive hair loss. It is better if a consultation with a doctor-trichologist is carried out before buying such a remedy.

Shampoos for hair. It is easy to understand that the use of such a product gives the hair a shade that is later washed off. At the same time, radically change the color of hair with the help of such a tool will not work. You can pay attention to the products of such brands: "L'Oréal", "Estel", "Schwarzkopf".

In addition to the categories listed above, natural hair shampoos are sometimes given. They can have different purposes, be both professional and curative, but necessarily contain a large number of natural components. In principle, natural substances are very well perceived by the hair. But! Do not rule out the risk of allergies. Therefore, it is worth starting to carefully test the natural remedy, especially if it has some exotic ingredients. Well-established brands such as: "BIRCH SPA", "Dancoly", "Angel Professional".
