Group "Propaganda" in the Russian show business

Three soloists of the group "Propaganda" - Vika Petrenko, Vika Voronin and Yulia Garanin - became widely known to the public in the early 2000s. This happened largely due to their bright appearance and charismatic performance. But not without the help of producer Sergei Izotov, the group "Propaganda" attracted the attention of a multimillion Russian audience.

How it all began...

Before the girls won popularity, they had to endure a lot of disappointments and difficulties. To earn a living brought speeches on New Year's fur-trees. The girls worked with clowns and puppets, and loitered in the old Arbat, performing their own songs.

One of these speeches was accidentally brought to attention by A. Kozin, director of a well-known recording studio. A few days later the group "Propaganda" was presented to him by the producer S. Izotov. He helped to record the first hit and "brought" to the big stage. Thus, the composition "Melom" became known to the general public.

Change of composition

But it was not easy to hold out in the same collective under tough conditions of show business. At one of the performances the audience noticed that the group "Propaganda" had changed its composition. Instead of three girls on the stage came two, and one - completely unknown. Fans were told that Victoria Petrenko left the group, as a result of the split and "inconsistency" with the moral appearance of the pop stars.

After her, Julia left the band. As expected, the renewed group "Propaganda", whose composition has changed, has also changed the image.

New girls - Olga Moreva and Irina Yakovleva - worked on their appearance, worked on new songs and with great difficulty recorded their first album.

At the height of popularity

The album appeared in 2002 and was called "Children". After him came a remix plate. The group "Propaganda" got to the top of the charts. New clips, songs, tours led to the fact that the soloists began to learn, their hits were more often heard on the air of popular radio stations. 2003 was one of the most successful, at this time there was another album, "So Be It." A huge popularity of Ira, Vika and Ole brought the song of the group "Propaganda" called "Super Baby". She was photographed video and released a colorful disc, the author of songs for which was the soloist Vika Voronin. In 2004, the band won the Golden Gramophone for the song Yai-ya.

Since the beginning of its existence the band has already released 7 albums, traveled with tours to Russia and not only. But the "star disease" of one of the participants again led to a change in the composition. Deciding to start a solo career, in 2011 Vika Voronina withdrew from the collective, her place was taken by Vika Bogoslovskaya (one of the participants of the "Star Factory"). Hymn with Ira and Olya is no more than six months, and she left them. And in July 2012, the group "Propaganda" was joined by Maria Nedelkova.

Constant work on images, experiments with disco style, bright attractive appearance of participants, a talented performance allow you to stay afloat in the conditions of tough Russian show business. And today you can hear hits in the performance of a new line-up, which, in the opinion of critics, is in no way inferior to the original one.
