The InternetE-commerce

E-business

The military, who created Arpanet (a prototype of the modern World Wide Web), did not even suspect that with the help of their invention it would be possible to conduct electronic business. Although those goals, which they pursued, can not be better described the main motive of this direction of commerce. Modern electronic business is a system for describing and managing processes in real time. Once it was relevant only for making instant decisions in the conduct of hostilities. Modern realities require the same from any commercial company. The electronic business has opened up unprecedented horizons and opportunities for any person.

Many people confuse the term "e-business" with electronic commerce. However, the concept of "electronic business" covers a broader scope of human activity. Commerce involves the sale of goods or services without taking into account the mechanisms and description of the methodology. Electronic business involves not only the availability of any product, but also the mechanisms of interaction with suppliers, buyers, the external environment, and an operative reaction to its changes. To be clearer, let's try to give some examples.

Conditionally kinds of electronic business can be divided into a number of categories. Many of them may overlap or complement each other. It is important to understand that e-business is not only Internet sites, but any systems that use computers and the Internet to react quickly to changes in parameters that affect profit.

1. Direct sales

This is the first thing that comes to mind to any person. Internet shops are the most striking example of this. It has never been so easy to reach the global audience as using the Internet to sell goods and services. Almost every company has its own website, and to advertise and sell its products through it is much cheaper and, often, more efficient.

2. Intermediary activities

The same online stores are intermediaries between the manufacturer of the goods and the buyer. In addition, intermediaries should include all sites that contribute to making a profit or achieving the desired goal for the commission. These are investment funds, and stock traders, and so on.

Perhaps the most successful intermediaries have become and will become resources that provide transparent and reliable transactions between people or companies.

This includes Internet auctions and freelance exchanges. On such sites between the customer (seller) and the contractor (the buyer) there is an intermediate link in the form of resource creators. They guarantee fulfillment of their obligations by each of the parties, which makes it possible to conduct a large number of transactions without much risk.

3. Earnings without investment and knowledge

The most primitive, but the right to life way of earning through the Internet. There are a lot of sites on the web that are ready to pay people for viewing pages of advertisers' websites, attracting new participants to these systems, scrolling pages, participating in polls and voting. Such work brings a mere penny, which often does not justify even the cost of electricity.

4. Electronic business as a management tool

Here the concept exists, perhaps, in the purest form. Personnel management, procurement, and logistics systems are already widely used. That is, the use of e-business systems is expedient and justified in any processes that have an execution algorithm and are dependent on certain factors and parameters.

To the above material, I want to add that the possibilities of the World Wide Web for doing business and making profits are truly limitless. Anyone can take their niche in it or improve their business with due diligence and diligence.
