Cobratoxan Ointment: Use and Composition

Few people know that Vietnam produces a miracle cure that allows you to effectively cope with back pain. This amazing ointment, made on the basis of snake venom, can be found in our pharmacies. Starting in 2012, it is sold under the commercial name Cobratoxan. The use of this drug, we will consider in today's article.

Composition

According to the information declared by the manufacturer, this unique tool is made on the basis of several components. Their combination is chosen so that they complement and enhance the effectiveness of each other. Cobratoxan ointment, the use of which effectively removes pain, contains 0.0005 grams of cobra venom, which is considered the main and most valuable component of the drug. This substance is one of the most expensive of all used in the pharmaceutical industry. Even in microscopic doses, it perfectly removes inflammation, improves blood circulation and eliminates painful sensations.

In addition, Cobratoxan, the use of which has already proved its effectiveness, contains 2.8 grams of methyl ester of salicylic acid. It has anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. This substance is extracted artificially, separating it from the willow bark. In its pure form it is considered highly toxic.

Another component of "Kobtoksana" is menthol. It is known for its painkillers, antiseptic and distracting properties. It is this substance that contributes to the narrowing of the peripheral blood vessels, as a result of which a slight sensation of coolness appears at the site of application.

Form release and pharmacological properties

Cobratoxan, the use of which is shown in many diseases, is available as a transparent white ointment. This drug has a characteristic smell of essential oils. It is realized in tubes, in which twenty grams of the drug is packaged.

Vietnamese ointment has a number of healing properties. It reflexively affects the surface receptors of the skin, dulling the pain syndrome. The active substances of the drug penetrate deeply into the tissues, contributing to the elimination of inflammatory processes. Cobra venom expands the capillaries, normalizing metabolism and improving the supply of oxygen and nutrients.

The therapeutic effect is based solely on the local effects of Cobratoxan, the use of which is recommended for back problems. Studies have shown that no more than 10% of the ointment is absorbed into the blood. All absorbed substances are discharged through the intestine.

Indications and contraindications

As a rule, "Kobrotoksan" is prescribed for the treatment of radiculitis, inflammatory or traumatic lesions of muscles, ligaments, tendons and joints. He effectively fights with pain in the back, torticollis, meniscus lesions, dislocations, bruises and bursitis. This ointment is prescribed for those diagnosed with such diseases as arthrosinovitis, periarthritis, sprain or ligament rupture.

By analogy with other medicines, "Kobrotoksan" has a number of contraindications. It is forbidden to use it for people who have an individual intolerance to one of the components of the ointment. Also, this remedy is not prescribed for skin diseases, active tuberculosis, febrile conditions, general exhaustion, propensity to develop angiospasms and a pronounced impairment of cerebral circulation.

Cobratoxan: instructions for use

A small amount of the drug is applied to dry and clean skin and rubbed with light massaging movements until fully absorbed. The duration of the course of treatment should not exceed ten days. Ointment is used twice a day, at approximately the same intervals. At a time, no more than three grams of "Kobloktosan" should be applied.

When working with ointment, which contains microdoses of cobra venom, it is necessary to avoid contact with the mucous membranes. After using the drug, it is advisable to wash your hands well.
