The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation is a state body that has established a large number of departmental awards. In which list are they presented? What normative acts regulate the procedure for awarding them?

Awards from the Ministry of Emergency Situations: Regulatory Legislation

The Ministry of Emergency Measures of the Russian Federation No. 620, which was issued on 06.12.2010, defines the awards of the Ministry of Emergency Measures of Russia. The list of these awards is specified in Appendix No. 1 to this source of law. They are presented in the following categories:

- Medals of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia;

- marks of Excellence;

- commemorative medals;

- badges.

In total, the list, determined by Order No. 620, includes 34 corresponding awards. In separate appendices to this normative act their images and descriptions are given. In Appendix No. 2, the standards are defined, in accordance with which the rewarding, delivery, as well as the storage of signs and medals from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation.

Let's consider what basic descriptions have departmental awards of the Ministry of Emergency Measures of Russia proceeding from the provisions of Order No. 620.

Departmental awards: cross "For valor"

This award refers to the insignia. It has the shape of a cross, and also contains oval rays, the diameter of which is 42 mm. Badge of Honor "For Service in Aviation"

Another sign of distinction, the delivery of which is regulated by Order No. 620 - the sign "For Service in Aviation". It is made in the form of an endless cross, which has widening ends. In this case, between the rays of the cross there are fines. In its central part is a round shape medallion with a small girdle. It is also framed by a laurel branch. The medallion also depicts the globe, and on it - floating wings, as well as a small emblem of the department.

In the largest number of awards EMERCOM of Russia are represented by medals. Let's consider their basic descriptions.

Medal "For difference in emergency"

This medal has the form of a circle with a convex rim, painted in silver. Its diameter is 32 mm. It can be noted that all medals, which will be considered further, are round, have convex edges and specified diameter.

The front side of the award contains the image of the cross. In its center there is a small emblem of the department. The reverse side contains the inscription "EMERCOM of Russia". Directly beneath it are laurel branches.

Medal "For Propaganda"

This award is of a silver color. On its obverse side there is an image of a bell, as well as a small emblem of the department. On the back of the medal, as well as other awards of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia considered above, contains an inscription with the name of the department, as well as an image of laurel branches.

"XV years of the Ministry of Emergency Situations"

"XX years of the Ministry of Emergency Situations"

Anniversary departmental awards of EMERCOM of Russia also include a medal dedicated to the 20th anniversary of this state body. This award is a shield in the shape of an orange oval. It is framed by a laurel wreath, which has a golden color. On the shield is the middle emblem of the department. Below - the image of the fireman's helmet, as well as crossed hatchets.

"Best Inspector"

This breastplate looks like a wreath, consisting of laurel-oak branches, has a golden color. It has an average emblem of the department, a fireman's helmet, a golden ribbon, which contains the words "The Best Inspector of the Ministry of Emergency Measures of Russia".

Veteran of the Ministry of Emergency Situations

This award looks like an eight-pointed star, has a silvery shape. Between the ends of the star there are silvery rays. On the front side is the globe, against its background - a small emblem of the department, around it - golden wings, as well as the image of the flag of Russia. On the reverse side there is an inscription "An excellent airman of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia", below is an olive branch, and also a propeller.

These are the main awards of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia. On the importance they are not officially separated. To own any of them is honorable.

It can be noted that the legislation of the Russian Federation does not explicitly stipulate that for awards of the Ministry of Emergency Measures of Russia, privileges in any varieties can be assigned to recipients of appropriate medals or signs. But their presence can be taken into account when determining other privileges guaranteed by the state - for example, the status of "Veteran of Labor".
