Civilizations of the ancient world left behind their existence many puzzles and questions, the answers to which still can not find people. The construction of projects of similar scale is a difficult task even for current architects. And if we take into account the anticipated level of technology and knowledge, the social structure of the time, then this task is completely irresolvable. Nevertheless, the Great Sphinx, through the millenniums, carries its unencrypted message to the descendants.

Not all the artifacts of ancient civilizations have such outstanding dimensions. Of particular interest are large-scale models and images of various devices and mechanisms, the very existence of which is surprising. The Colombian model of the golden airplane, the Egyptian model of the glider from the tomb, represents copies of aircraft. It is surprising that the analysis of the geometry of these figures reveals differences with the proportions of flying insects and birds, and the aircraft models created on their basis in flight tests have shown excellent results.
