Method 1: Simple parts

Start the story better with the simplest options. So, what do you need to know when figuring out how to sew an apron? 5 class is still that time, the girls code does not have a good knowledge of any skill, so the patterns of products should be as simple as possible. For this method, you will need two basic details: one - square (this will be a breastplate), the second - a rectangular (cut at the waist). You will also need two long narrow strips - one will be worn around the neck (harness), the second - this is the belt of the apron. So, it's better to start work from the top - the breast part. You need to cut out a square or a rectangle from a fabric, wrap it around all edges, start a line. Next, you need to calculate the length of that part of the apron that will be worn around the neck, cut out the fabric, folded in half, around the edges, curling the fabric inside. Also it is necessary to give an attachment line along this part. The next and final stage of work on the top piece is the joining of the two finished parts. To do this, the harness must be attached to the breastplate and stitched in several lines. Now you can proceed to a larger, basic detail. It is also necessary to cut out a rectangle of cloth of the required length. As for the width, it can be different, because the apron will be in the warehouses (the larger the width of the fabric, the more splendid the apron will be in the final version). We go further, figuring out how to sew an apron (grade 5). Now you need to create warehouses or make an assembly (optional). Warehouses need to be secured with pins (they can be counter or consecutive). To make the assembly, you just need to put the widest line on the typewriter and, pulling the bottom thread, attach the fabric to the desired width. Having prepared completely the bottom part of an apron, it is necessary to make a belt. It is done according to the principle of a harness around the neck: you need a piece of cloth that will be bent in half, the ends will be wrapped inwards, everything will be fixed with a stitch on the typewriter. Method 2: One-piece

There is another rather easy way of sewing an apron (grade 5). However, in this embodiment, the article will not be stapled, but whole, from one piece of fabric. To do this, you will need to prepare a fairly large cut of fabric, a slanting bake that forms the edges, as well as a harness and ribbon-ties.

Pattern

However, before embarking on sewing, you need to prepare a pattern. There are several ways to do this. The first and the simplest: as a pattern can serve a ready-made beloved mother apron, according to its principle and should cut the fabric. However, experienced seamstresses will say that this is wrong. You need to understand how to properly and according to all the rules sew an apron. The pattern in this case should be created manually, according to certain calculations. Thus, the width of the apron will be approximately 50 cm, length - 55. The upper part of the breastplate (length) - 20 cm, the bottom part - 35 cm. First, we trim the sides and the bottom of the apron (a slanting bake is put on fabric, wrapping around its edges): first a mark is made, only then a line is sewn on the typewriter. The second approach: the upper part of the apron is lined. Here it is necessary to correctly calculate the length of the oblique bake, considering the tie on both sides, as well as the harness on the neck. Everything is sewn in one line, as it were, in a circle. A simple apron is ready!

Decoration

It's worth thinking about how an apron can be decorated. So, for this you can make a pocket or simply dress up the product with lace. To create a pocket, you just need to cut the fabric of the desired shape (the pocket can be square, semicircular, rectangular, etc.), twist the edges (the top can either be tucked inside or decorated with the same oblique bake). There is a pocket for the product on the front side. That's all ready! Lace can also be put on the bottom of the product, and also on the pocket, just by sewing them with a stitch.

Simple rules

Wishing to sew an apron, it is worth remembering a few simple rules:

1. If you want to sew an apron (white, green or red), the threads can be matched in both tone and contrast color, this is allowed.
2. All edges of the product must necessarily be over-drilled (you can not do this if the edge is completely wrapped inside).
3. If the oblique bake is done by hand, it should be worn at an angle, and not straight.
4. After work, the product must be ironed.
