Decl and Timati are two bright stars in the sky of Russian show business. Fame came to them at different times, and they walked along different roads to success, although both belong to hip-hop culture. They never openly competed and did not enmity.

Decl always went and continues today with his distinctive philosophy and views on music, Timati created the music label Black Star and actively promotes and develops it. Decl

Decl (or Cyril Tolmatsky) was born on July 22, 1983 in the family of music producer Alexander Tolmatsky. It was with the filing of his father in 15 years that Cyril Tolmatsky became the protagonist of the project "Decl" and already touring in Russia.

He became the youngest and most talented pioneer of Russian rap. His albums were scattered in huge editions, and the number of fans was millions. Suddenly struck glory, frequent parties, TV shows and awards seized the young rap artist in a vice and imposed a lot of obligations on Cyril. The relationship between father and son became strained.

The reason for this was the freedom of Decl and the commercial attitude of Tolmatsky the eldest to his son. And when, for safety reasons, security was assigned to the Deczl, this was the last straw. Since 2002, Decl independently builds a musical career under the pseudonyms Le truk and Giuseppe Hardcock. And according to numerous media reports, father and son still do not support the relationship.

Timati

Timati (or Timur Yunusov) was born on August 15, 1983 in the family of a big businessman. But, according to Timati himself, he was never a "golden" child. The father brought him up, guided by the principle - everything you need to achieve yourself. And the son listened to his instructions. Already at the age of 15 he made the first steps in the musical career, having founded his own group VIP77, which was rather favorably received by the public.

In 2004 he became a participant of the famous project "Star Factory" (season 4). Later he created the band "Banda" together with the manufacturers Dominik Joker, Ratmir Shishkov and Nastya Kochetkova. The group disintegrated with the death of one of the soloists (Ratmir Shishkov).

2006 was in many respects a turning point in Timati's career. It was at this time comes the first solo album Black Star and the same name collection of clothes in the style of hip-hop and R'n'B. But the most significant event was the organization of its own production center, Black Star Inc.

In the late 90's, fate pushed two novice rappers into a breakdance school. According to relatives, Timati and Decl were friends in their childhood. This is indicated by their cooperation in 1999, when Timati was back-MC in the project of the Decla. But, apparently, the role of the second plan for the bright and charismatic Cyril Tolmatsky was not to Timati's liking, and soon the guys parted ways, continuing each of their musical way. At the same time, there were no warm friendships either.

Quarrel

Since the beginning of the zero years of the media, there has been a certain opposition between rap artists. But what could Deczl and Timati share?

The quarrel, according to critics, could occur for several reasons. "Black Star" just sent him to be the shadow of Decl. And while the latter coped with the increased attention of the public, the demands of his father and formed his own music philosophy, Timati slowly assembled his team to shoot beautiful clips, bright tracks and hit the audience with a sweep of tattoos and pockets. That's how the substitution of one star for another occurred. And if we consider the difference in the directions of views and music, then hostility is obvious.

In Decl, the audience of listeners is minimal, but high-quality (the singer himself says that), Timati has a large, but, as critics write , it is only the result of a competent advertising policy. Nevertheless, Decl and Timati are today successful people and happy fathers. They actively write music and touring. The children's tandem "Decl and Timati" disintegrated. Photos and clips only remind us of their friendship. But the legends of Russian hip-hop have not yet gone down in history and there has been no substitution of glory. Just Decl and Timati go on different creative roads.
