The drug "Spazmeks" (analogs of the agent are unknown) has an antispasmodic effect. The active component is trospium chloride. The medicine "Spazmeks" (experts' testimonies testify to this) can be used in a different dosage range (from thirty to ninety milligrams a day or more), which does not cause the development of clinically significant side effects and, in turn, does not require the withdrawal of the medicine.

The drug helps to reduce the detrusor (muscle shell) hyperactivity in the bladder. The medicine "Spazmeks" has myotropic papaverin-like action. The agent does not have a central effect.

The drug "Spazmex" instruction recommends with mandatory urge to urinate, urinary incontinence against the background of neurogenic and idiopathic increased detrusor activity in spinal injuries, parkinsonism, acquired and hereditary pathologies of the brain, multiple sclerosis and other diseases. The indications for the use of medication include day and night enuresis, nocturia and pollakiuria. Drug "Spazmex" instruction recommends for detrusor-sphincter dissynergy with intermittent catheterization, mixed forms of urinary incontinence, and also in combination with other medications in the treatment of cystitis, complicated by imperative symptoms.

The drug is contraindicated with narrow-angle glaucoma, myasthenia gravis, tachyarrhythmia, urinary retention, hypersensitivity. Do not prescribe medication until the age of fourteen.

The use of the drug during pregnancy and lactation is allowed by appointment of a specialist. At the same time throughout the therapeutic course requires systematic monitoring of the condition.

When taking the "Spazmex" means the development of some side effects is likely. To undesirable reactions include a skin rash, a disorder in the emptying of the bladder, nausea, tachycardia, dry mouth, constipation, dyspeptic manifestations. As observations show, these phenomena are rare and are observed for a short time.

The drug "Spazmeks" is prescribed in an individual dosage according to the clinical picture of the pathology. Children after fourteen years and adults are recommended to ten milligrams three times a day or fifteen milligrams two or three times a day.

With neurogenic hyperactivity of the muscular wall, the dosage is 15 or 20 mg twice a day.

The duration of therapy is on average two to three months. After eliminating the signs of pathology, experts recommend conducting anti-relapse treatment for two to four weeks. The decision to continue therapy is taken by the attending physician.
