The debut of the renewed French car "Renault Talisman"

The exhibition Frankfurt Motor Show was held in 2015 and was not without loud presentations. This time, the French company Renault introduced its new development. Instead of two models Laguna and Latitude, the design engineers of this company presented a modern and stylish "Renault Talisman". The corporation increased the economy of the alliance through a new system (CMF), and new developers expanded the list of car functions.

Dimensions

Renewed Renault belongs to the D-class, which corresponds to its external and internal parameters.

Compared with previous models of Laguna hatchback and station wagon, some dimensional characteristics have improved and changed:

• 4.85 m - length (Laguna hatchback - 4.70 m, Laguna station wagon - 4.80 m);
• 1.46 m - height;
• 1.87 m is the latitude;
• Wheelbase - 2.81 m (Laguna hatchback - 2.67 m, Laguna station wagon - 2.75 m);
• Clearance - 120 mm.

Exterior

The external parameters of the Renault Talisman (station wagon) correspond to the concept of this company. Bends, crossbeams and punchings emphasize a style that is "from and to", there are no sharp corners, only rounded shapes and style.

The front part of the body has some resemblance to the Renault Espace. The roof was dome shaped. The streamlining effect is created, especially thanks to the oblong headlight design. However, in the new model, designers tried to emphasize the elongated form with chrome bets that do not perform any function, but perfectly complement the appearance. Both the main and fog optics of the "Renault Talisman" model are equipped with economical and practical LED modules Pure Vision, the rear parking lights are equipped with a 3D burgundy color effect.

Another chrome element is the grille on the radiator with a large emblem of the company "Renault". The shape corresponds to the general concept, it is rounded, and four edges (previously there were three) are united by a single elegant line that smoothly passes into the headlights. The radiator grille emphasizes an elegant yet powerful appearance, as if urging the driver to get out of the way as quickly as possible. Wheel arches have a massive stamping, and the diameter of the discs can vary from 16 to 19 (R16-R19), but the car does not look massive, but neat.

Interior: interior fittings

No less beautiful and rich is the interior of the Renault Talisman car, with high-quality trim, wooden elements, ergonomic seats with massagers and lots of electronics. Front seats are equipped with excellent lateral support, the functionality of which can be appreciated while making steep maneuvers during the test drive. Also worth noting the spaciousness of the interior, both in the front row (height 902 mm) and in the second (height 855 mm). It can easily accommodate five passengers. On the back sofa, even three adults do not feel uncomfortable. The capacity of the trunk is from 600 to 1700 liters. The dashboard features a multimedia system (9-inch screen), audio system, seat adjustment, cruise control, 4Control systems, R-Link 2 and many others. All elements are arranged as ergonomically as possible, which is a significant advantage of the model.

Technical equipment

The technical specifications of the new Renault Talisman model correspond to the level of the D-class: up to 100 km / h accelerate in 9.9 seconds, fuel consumption - 13 liters. The model is equipped with built-in turbocharged engines, both gasoline and diesel.

• Petrol: TCe (150 hp) and Energy TCe (200 hp), working volume 1, 6 l. And a seven-band box.
• Diesel: DCi (110 hp), working volume of 1, 5 l, DCi (160 hp), and there is also a 1.6 l, 6 EDC automatic dual-clutch and a six-band box.

"Renault Talisman" in Russia has not yet appeared on sale. Official statements about whether the car will be presented on the domestic market, was not made. However, in Europe the new model is already widely represented. Experts predict that "Talisman" will quickly take a leading position in its segment.
