Necessary tools and materials. Nail preparation
In order to make a manicure qualitatively, it is desirable to first collect all the necessary tools:
- a vial with a varnish;
- Manicure set;
- degreaser;
- cotton buds and pads;
- medical alcohol;
- fixer;
- ultraviolet lamp (binding instrument).
Naturally, single - phase gel-lacquer, reviews of which are mostly positive, should be applied to the prepared surface. That is, first the nail should be processed with a nail file, the cuticle removed, the edges of the plate trimmed and polished. Naturally, the fingers should be treated with degreasing agent.
Procedure for applying varnish
1. First, lubricate the nails with the base coat and dry them under the ultraviolet rays for a few minutes. As a base, you can use the lacquer itself or another means. Basically, a substance that does not have a color is used. The base layer should be thin and even. All the shortcomings need to be removed immediately.
2. Now proceed to applying gel-varnish. Do this in several layers (at least 2, if the product has a bright color), and each of them must be dried by a lamp. The thickness of the coating should be small. Note that the edge of the nail should be stained especially well. Otherwise, the varnish can simply peel off.
3. After drying the manicure under the UV-lamp on the nails need to apply a fixer. Then treat hands with ultraviolet rays for 2 minutes (not less).
4. Elimination of excess gel. For this purpose, a special agent is used that can degrease nails. However, note that it should not contain acetone. After such treatment, the varnish will not stick.
Since the lacquer is single-phase, it is not necessary to use a fixer and a base base.
How to remove gel-lacquer correctly?
After a while, the manicure will have to be changed: it can wear out or you may want to change the image. Naturally, for this purpose, the single-phase gel-lacquer that remained on the surface of the plate must be removed. This procedure has some features, and it should be done correctly:
- We moisten cotton wool with nail polish remover, which contains acetone;
- Now put it on the nail and wrap it in foil;
- After 15 minutes, open the nail and remove the gel film with a special stick for processing the cuticle (do it preferably very carefully);
- If there is still varnish on the plate, remove it with a polishing nail file.
