"Silver wedding" - a group that is the embodiment of something insane and at the same time surprisingly beautiful. Among the Belarusian public, she deservedly earned due attention and respect, and now conquers the hearts of people in other countries.

"Silver wedding" - a group that became a bright phenomenon of the Belarusian scene, which, gradually expanding, flowed into other countries. This team has become famous for its impeccably-insane manner of performances, quality music and an outstanding personality, heading the crazy gang of musicians. The undisputed trump of the band is mocking and life-affirming songs, a bright performance using different props and costumes. But first things first.

Diva

The leader of the "Silver Wedding" Svetlana Ben insists that she should be called simply Benka. She was born in the summer of 1973 in Vitebsk in the family of medical workers. After graduating from the Vitebsk School of Arts, she continued her studies at the State University of Culture and Arts. In 2006 she finished her studies in the specialty of "puppet theater director". Before the career in the "Silver wedding" Svetlana even managed to work by profession, putting several performances. But on this she did not stop, having tried herself in the role of the poetess, solo singer and the creator of the theater "Kartonka". Now Benka is a non-replaceable soloist-inspirer since the birth of the band. The muse of this person generates creations full of positive emotions. A pinch of extraterrestriality with a slice of childish naivete is accompanied by almost all the songs of the group "Silver wedding". Her life is filled with creativity, sunshine and fun.

Group

At the concerts of the cabaret band "Silver Wedding", authentic even the most unmusical instruments sound. Printers, saws, xylophones, rattles, dolls, bottles and suitcases - a variety of magical junk takes part in the creation of charming music. Besides the funny things, of course, there are more traditional instruments. However, for a modern musical paradigm, sometimes they are also ukulele, xylophone, contrabass, trumpet, trombone, banjo, violin, concertino, tuba and guitar. And, of course, a brand-new ironing board. In the repertoire of the musical group songs in Russian, French and German. Dixieland and French chanson prevail in the genres, however, the group does not shy away from Russian folk motifs, country and Latin American rhythms.

In such magical conditions, members of an unusual musical family called "Silver Wedding" can not be ordinary people with boring names. Participants in the cabaret band, besides Benka, are William Gubbs, Eugene and Serge Lumière, George Punch, François de Bochs, Francesca-Maria Wasilewska, Natalie Martes and Alexandra Bo. In fact, in life they all have quite ordinary Belarusian names and surnames, but you do not need to disclose this information, leaving it a little secret. The musical collective is quite close and friendly, and this is the basis of the fact that the "Silver Wedding" is a group. Repertoire

"Silver wedding" - a group whose concert is a real show. The musicians released their first album "Concert in the closet" in 2008, 3 years after the birth of the band. It included cutting live songs. At that time, "Silver Wedding" for a long time did not want to record the album, positioning itself as a concert collective, but succumbed to the persuasion of the fans. Well, after the release of the record the band found new fans and significantly increased popularity.

The second album "Heart Muscle" in 2011 was already evaluated by a circle of serious music critics. The non-triviality and juiciness of the songs made them delighted. The inexorable success was also aggravated by the novelty, freshness of the genre, rare among the countries of the post-Soviet space.

At the moment, several new albums have already been recorded, including the beautiful Laterna Magica in 2012, "Music - Everything" for 2015, and the maxi-single Ag 2014, which became the visiting card of the "Silver Wedding" collective. The group has won the hearts of a huge number of people of different nationalities and social strata. Among the musicians' repertoire there is not one similar to the other composition.
