Shooting groups

All the participants of the crew are one big family. And the number of people in this family directly depends on the complexity of the film. All participants are divided into groups that are either in the main composition, or in the attached. The main division goes into the following categories:

The key element on the set is, of course, the director. He organizes everything: robot operators and actors, camera angles and staging. In the end, on the screen, we see exactly the director's vision of the picture. And only 90% of the box-office success of the film and its cultural value depend on the director's work.

The importance of actors

In addition to spectacular landscapes in the background, high-quality scenery and other things, first of all we pay attention to the actors. They are the main visual, emotional and narrative component of the film history. Many masterpieces of cinematography were shot with a small budget, indoors, almost without scenery, but the charisma and talent of the actors made these films genius.

Working with actors is not just a film set, it all starts with casting. From the skillfully chosen "caste" it depends which characters we will eventually see on the screen. And it's not even in appearance (with this skillfully handyman and costume designers), but in the professionalism and style of the game performer.

About special effects

Already in the second half of the twentieth century, the cinema began to add the first quality and realistic special effects. And after thirty years, at the dawn of the twenty-first century, the share of special effects in the market of Hollywood cinema increased significantly. No one can do without

• Make-up. Their task is to mask the imperfections in the appearance of actors, transform them or make an artistic make-up that will change the performer beyond recognition.
• Operators. Under the strict guidance of the director, the operators shoot the scenes on film. A set for them is a location that needs to be removed from the necessary angle.
• Decorators. Sometimes the decorators are faced with simple tasks, sometimes complex ones. In some cases, they play the role of pavilion designers for shooting, and sometimes they have to create completely unbelievable scenery from scratch.
• Costumes. Will the character look stylish and organic, directly depends on the costumers.
• Stuntmen. If the screen is expected to shoot, tricks and chase, then no stunt can not do. Computer graphics will not be able to create a realistic and live fight, as martial arts professionals and receptors know how to do it.
• Stand-ins. The scenes, which for some reason can not be played by the main actor, are played by doubles. They are chosen by their external similarity with the character.
