Reutov - a small town that adjoins the Moscow Ring Road, if you go in the direction of Nizhny Novgorod. How the name of the city appeared

According to another version, the name of the village was given to Moldovans who lived near the Moldovan river Reut and came here to trade.

When the enemy appeared, they called the huge bell of Reut, warning the residents of Moscow about the danger. Bells were installed on the watchtowers. Until the XVIII century, the village was in the possession of the princes Dolgorukov and Touraine, then it passes to the nobleman Maslov NI, who built a large country estate here. Temples and cathedrals of Reutov were built relatively recently. In 1990, an Orthodox parish was formed in the city. Divine services were conducted in the apartment of an ordinary apartment house, so the city authorities decided to build the Temple of the icon of Kazan Mother of God.

Its construction began in 1996, all citizens of the city participated in the erection. The construction was completed in 1999. Now in the cathedral there is an ark, in which are stored the relics of St. Seraphim of Sarov, as well as the framework with the relics of some saints and martyrs.
