Installing games on Android: a brief guide

Unlike devices based on the iOS operating system (iPhone, iPad, and so on), the installation of Android games not downloaded from the official application store but from a third-party source is very simple and does not require deepening into the system: firmware, patches, Or any other cardinal operations with the device. It is enough to have a little ingenuity and follow the instructions below.

A huge number of games on Android can be divided into two types: games with a cache and games without it. The first - usually full-fledged projects of large companies, the second - casual, but this is no less exciting and interesting.

1. In either case, you first need to go to "Settings". In the "Applications" section the first item will be "Unknown sources", where you need to tick. Without this item, you will not be able to install Android games if the application is not from the Play Store. It may happen that you do not find this item in this section, because Android - the system is flexible, and the manufacturer can "compile" the settings at will. Be that as it may, look for something similar to installing applications from unknown sources in all menus and submenus of device settings.

2. At this point, you can start downloading games. Fortunately in the network there is a huge number of sites with games on Android. Find them is not difficult! As already mentioned, there are games that require cache, and those that do not need it. But now it's not about this - we'll deal with special notes that can be placed on these sites.

  • ARM v7, ARM v6 - the required architecture for running this version of the game. It is very easy to learn the architecture of a certain device, having studied the instruction (they are also on official websites of manufacturers). Usually on products of medium and high price segments put a more powerful ARM v7, and cheap budget devices - inexpensive and economical Arm v6. If the architecture is not specified, then lucky to all the owners, because the application will work properly on any smartphone / tablet.
  • Root - these are applications / games that will not reveal their full potential without superuser rights, which are often obtained with the help of a flashing.
  • HD - these games have graphics of increased clarity and will look especially beautiful on tablets with a high screen resolution and detail.
  • Tegra 3, Mali, Adreno, Tegra 2, PowerVR - the so-called video accelerators. If your goal is to install Android games, we recommend paying attention to the presence / absence of these parameters in the cache load.

3. Connect the gadget using the USB-lanyard that comes with the computer. When you see on the computer that there is a new flash drive in the system, copy the apk-installation to it and, if necessary, cache.

4. On the device with any convenient file manager (like ES Explorer or Total Commander), you open, install and play! Enjoy your leisure time!

Creating games on Android is a long and laborious process, because the developers place their creations on Google Play. If the application is free - we recommend downloading it from there, it will be much faster and more convenient. Paid apps can be downloaded from pirated sites and installed in the manner described above, but you can also buy in the Play Store, thereby encouraging the developer to modify their creation, so the choice is yours. In the end, I want to say that installing games on Android is a trivial process, which after some practice will not take you much time.
