Drying oil natural - an excellent means for surface treatment

Drying oil is already used for many years in construction. This unique product is based on linseed, soy or sunflower oil. In addition, the composition of the solution includes desiccant - a special substance that promotes accelerated drying of the material.

Application

Usually, natural linseed oil is used in the manufacture of oil paints and various putties. In addition, it is successfully used to impregnate different surfaces in order to prevent possible rotting. Also, the facility allows you to reduce the amount of paint materials used in painting. Professionals are advised to cover the surface with two-three layers of varnish before painting or painting.

Today, the material has given way to other drugs in the fight against wood parasites, but with this task linseed linseed can perfectly cope. Many people still prefer using time-tested material that is reliable and gives a guaranteed result.

Kinds of drying oil

Three types of material are produced, which differ in their characteristics and composition. There are composite, natural drying oils and oxol. The most cheap and odorous are composite schemes, which are produced only by technical specifications. Typically, these products include petroleum polymer resins, chemical substitutes for natural components, and other petrochemical waste. Composite drying oils should not be used in the treatment of walls in the apartment and even when painting the loggia. It is better to purchase natural materials for repair work, the quality of which is stipulated in GOST.

Olive natural refers to such means. It consists of three percent of the desiccant, the remaining 97% is vegetable oil. This composition is best used for the dilution of paint and impregnation of the wooden surface indoors. The material is perfect for outdoor work, but in this case it is used less often due to high costs.

When doing outdoor painting jobs, it is best to pay attention to linseed oil, which is half of vegetable sunflower or linseed oil and 40 percent of white spirit, which is a solvent. The share of desiccant is 5 percent. This material is cheaper than linseed oil. However, his properties are somewhat different. If you do not apply varnish or paint on top of the oxolite, the layer of material may eventually break down. This compound is in excellent contact with wood surfaces and is used for internal work. When using the material in outdoor applications, it must be remembered that the product is only the basis for applying varnish, paint or enamel.

Recommendations for use

Drying oil before the beginning of work should be carefully mixed. After that, it can be used to impregnate plaster and wood, as well as dilute the paints of stubble. Work with the material should be at a temperature of at least 10 degrees above zero. If necessary, you can dilute the formulation with white spirit.
