Composition of G2 Esports and the history of the development of the team

The team called G2 Esports entered the international arena in the near 2015. For a short time, the composition of G2 by CS: GO entered the rating of the most powerful teams in the world.

History of creation and development

As mentioned earlier, the G2 team was formed and played their first matches with other teams in 2015. Originally, the name Gamers 2 was chosen, and the team was recruited not only from the French, but also from citizens of other countries.

The first lineup of G2 included such players as:

1. Scream.
2. Fox.
3. Dennis.
4. Rain.
5. Maikelele.

Together with the release of the team to the international level, the team of managers on promotion started. They forced the entire e-sports industry to discuss G2.

In 2015, the player ScreaM withdrew from the G2 and went under the wing of the Titans. In the same year the team did a small rebranding, after which it took the name G2 Esports.

The very first international team was remembered in e-sports most of all, as he was able to win 3rd place in such a tournament as DreamHack 2015. In January of the following year, FaZe Clan took the G2 team to itself and gave it 700 thousand dollars. After some time, the roster of the Titans moved to G2, after which all of them were transferred to them, including Skrim, from which the history of the former team once began.

Recently, e-sports players have changed their teams too often. Sometimes they do not stay in the squad for six months. The composition of G2 was no exception to the rule. The team was attended by many diverse cyber sportsmen, including quite famous personalities.

Achievements of G2

This team since the creation of proved that the world of e-sports in any case have to be considered with them. Since the first battles G2 has shown excellent results and is still held in the top teams for CS: GO.

Since its inception until 2017, the team has participated in 14 international tournaments and has won only prizes in them. During its existence, G2 has earned more than 470 thousand dollars on victories in competitions and 700 thousand dollars for joining FaZe Clan.

For the time of their fights, the composition showed itself best on the map called Cobblestone, and the least effective team fights took place on the Overpass card, but this did not prevent it from taking prizes in all the passing championships.
